Nekromanda In reply to ??? [2012-05-14 11:03:39 +0000 UTC]

When have I talked about people disrespecting Wicca? Also, I was talking about not disrespecting people. I don't have much respect for Christianity, that doesn't mean that I don't have much respect for people who happen to be Christian.

Me and you have discuss how people are not accepting of you because you are wiccan and I said I did care that you are because that is your belief. Resepct goes both ways around. You have to respect the person and their religion even if it doesn't agree with yours. Same thing in politics

I used to be a Wiccan, but I am an Atheist now. I still find the religion interesting, and I have a soft spot for the Pagan community, so I occasionally make stamps for people who are Wiccan/Pagan/What have you.

What made you change?

Nekromanda In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-16 00:09:10 +0000 UTC]

I no longer found myself believing in the concept of deities and a few other ideas that are Wiccan specifically, so... I'm not Wiccan. It's very important to always keep skeptical about everything, even religious beliefs.

Hmm interesting. Do you look at other religions?

Nekromanda In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-16 01:01:08 +0000 UTC]

Yup! I always find the beliefs of others extremely interesting, regardless of whether or not I believe them to be true. I'm always trying to learn more about others, because there are just so many different beliefs out there! A really interesting documentary is called "Around the World in 80 Faiths ," it was on the BBC. I've only seen a few episodes, but it's absolutely wonderful to hear about the differences in culture and belief, and stunning to hear about how other faiths like Christianity have influenced the beliefs of others over the centuries.

Questioning something isn't disrespect. It's an interesting question that does have a lot of evidence backing it up. Good killed millions, Satan killed . . . what, one?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Twilightzonegirl13 In reply to SpongeMuffin [2012-05-14 02:48:27 +0000 UTC]

What if we started to question your faith huh? Would you like it?
Have you actually seen satan's list of things he has done to good people. Look at the facts. satan influences more people to do bad then good in ANY situation. What do demons do? DUH! hurt people. Ask many of those who have dealt with them. Ask Marylian Manson what happen to him as a teen when he messed with that stuff. It haunts him to the day.

Nightshade-Poison In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-14 07:31:49 +0000 UTC]

"What if we started to question your faith, huh?"

...You really did not just ask that. You must be a troll, are you a troll? You must be.

Or just ignorant like rest.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Twilightzonegirl13 In reply to Nightshade-Poison [2012-05-14 09:57:11 +0000 UTC]

Nope just asking the obvious question.

The only only ignorance I see here is you.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Nightshade-Poison In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-15 02:02:03 +0000 UTC]

Also, if you want to know how some feel...

They don't care. Or they wouldn't mind.

If someone asked me, then I would have a discussion with them. Not get mad for having them ask questions.

But, what's the point in responding to you? You've made it clear that nothing is going to click about what's said to you because you have your nose shoved so far in the bible.

And yes, there are many people who don't question other's beliefs. But is there a law stating that you cannot discuss it with them? Not push it on them, or shove it or whatever. But have an open minded talk about their beliefs.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Twilightzonegirl13 In reply to Nightshade-Poison [2012-05-15 03:15:07 +0000 UTC]

I guess you haven't notice yours is shoved far more into the Bible then mine because you are busy trying to find reason why God is evil.

I am but when you start to question my God and if he is bad read the Bible again.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Nightshade-Poison In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-16 14:42:19 +0000 UTC]

LOL. I don't read the bible actually, haven't read it since I was like.. 9. I just stumbled across this while looking up "stamps".

So, um, by what you're saying... You were probably looking something like this up to bitch about.

And I wasn't questioning you. Other people were. And they weren't really questioning YOU. Not specifically going after you. Don't be conceited. You chose to comment though.
So, you know. Don't ASSUME I am questioning your god, cause I wasn't. I was blown away by the "respect" comment and the "What if we started to question your faith" comment. And THAT is what I was questioning. Your ignorance. Not your religion.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Twilightzonegirl13 In reply to Nightshade-Poison [2012-05-16 18:32:34 +0000 UTC]

Actually I wasn't. I watch the person who made the stamp. Get your information correct.

Your ignorance just stumbled upon this and decided to birch about my comment.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Nightshade-Poison In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-17 03:02:16 +0000 UTC]

Oh no, better unwatch them! They knew you were watching so they put up this stamp to question your religion and piss you off!

And, you didn't get it, but "get your information correct", I was doing the same thing to you. Well you're just looking these types of things to bitch about them, hater! Yeah, okay. You believe that.

Do you get it now that I spell it out?

"Your ignorance"
Well, in a less insulting manner, I suppose I didn't know and was curious about what she was saying so I clicked on it. And I suppose that made me ignorant about it, but that means you were ignorant too.

I was surprised to see this stamp wasn't "OMG GOD IS LIEK SO BAD PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM ARE DUMM" but an actual thought provoking discussion. You wouldn't know because that doesn't seem to be getting through your skull. And to be honest, you really aren't showing me anything positive to your intelligence.

And you STILL don't get why I commented to you? Are you really that blind? I think even the creator said it to you.

"Your ignorance just stumbled upon this and decided to birch about my comment"
I don't even think that makes sense. I was searching stamps. That's ignorant?

Nekromanda In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-14 11:52:07 +0000 UTC]

I dunno, I've been reading that question over and over for the last few hours and I've come to the conclusion that you (meaning Christians) already question the faith of others, so there's really no need to get so defensive about a question that asks you to inspect your own beliefs.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Twilightzonegirl13 In reply to Nekromanda [2012-05-14 18:20:44 +0000 UTC]

Actually I know many Christians who do not question another religion because that is what they believe

SpongeMuffin In reply to Twilightzonegirl13 [2012-05-14 02:52:30 +0000 UTC]

I wouldn't care, because I know it's human nature to question, and believing in something without EVER questioning it is idiotic. Do you follow the president's words without questioning what he says? Of course not! You sit and think if he's really making the best decision.

Satan's only crime was he dared to love God more than he loved humans, and for that he was punished. After that he gave intelligence to humanity. Please tell me how that is hurting people.

I don't know who Marylian Manson is, do you mean that musician with the dumb make up?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Twilightzonegirl13 In reply to SpongeMuffin [2012-05-14 03:02:13 +0000 UTC]

Knowing the president some of his idea are quiet out there. I do fully support him on supporting gays.

Actually Satan wanted to take over Heaven. I guess you missed that. This was before humanity was even here. After that God made man. Satan has many crimes look them up. His list his very long I assure you. The seven deadly sins created by satan. Temptation satan. Adam and Eve kicked out of Eden satan. Cults satan and many more. Demons=satan.

Tell me a time God has hurt you? God makes life. That is why his son Jesus rose from the dead.

Yea I do. I don't listen to him or anything but I have looked up stories about him and that was personal story from his teen life before he became famous. Believe me there are more people in this world that have gotten into that stuff and have regretted it, because they are haunted every day. Even Christians are haunted by these demons. Native Americans too. Many religions have them and they all point to one thing. Think about it a little more.

Satan as a rebellious archangel is an invention of Christianity hundreds of years after the 'old testament' was penned. Jews have always believed that Satan acts in accordance with God's will to test mankind, and that angels, unlike humans, have no free will. Thus couldn't rebel even if he wanted to.

Even if that were true (you can also go to the fake location of the ark) all that would prove is that there was a man named Jesus (Yeshua actually, Jesus is an approximate translation, not a real Hebrew name). It doesn't prove divinity of that man.

No you haven't, you've given me claims, claims that were already refuted by the link I gave you.

To repeat: It's not Noah's ark because
The wood is not from the right place, if it were, cobwebs could not exist due to a climate too cold for spiders. (Glacier)
The wood is not old enough, there is little to no decay in structure or material. Structure and material that was exposed to the elements for a purported ~5,000 years.
There is not enough water in the world to rest a boat that high up.
And there never was, see other problems regarding the flood myth .

Actually it isn't ignorance or anything like that. It is faith and hope and my beliefs. Your ignorance is getting in the way of what others believe, because you ego does not want them to believe what they want to believe. You do not believe in God that is on you I am not going to change that because that is YOU. The same goes for you trying to change me. It is not going to work. Like I have already said before AGREE TO DISAGREE or did you miss that.
