I've noticed how many people say how God just let's us die and blah blah, while Satan is all about free will.
Well, with God gives us plenty of free will. It is US who chooses what to believe in. US who does all those crimes. Yet he still loves us, and guides us. So how do you people think that only Satan gives us free will? Explains..

My regards if this isn't allowed in the comment section. Please look to it that you forgive me if this isn't something you would naturally allow for me to say about your stamp. Forgive me if this makes you upset/angry/mad or makes you want to testify; for that is not the intention of this comment or anything else.
If you've read the bible; even the first couple sections or pages of the bible you will clearly see that the Lord is the good person. He died for our sins and made room for us in Heaven; if he wasn't loving and understanding he wouldn't sacrifice himself for all of the people on this planet. I haven't read the entire Bible but I know the Lord is a nice person. If he wasn't loving he wouldn't return those who are sent to Heaven back in their bodies of Youth so they don't have to continue in mercy in their senior bodies and in pain; and have a chance to be young and youthful again. Heaven is a wonderful place made for the happiness of all humans where they can reside peacefully. If anything you have only the Holy Bible to blame for the 'cruelty and violence' that you read about. God does not intend for his name to sound so 'cruel' and 'rude'. For the Lords name shouldn't be shunned. Lucifer aka. Satan is to blame for; for he is the one that tricked Adam and Eve into eating from the tree of Knowledge. Although Adam and Eve have just as much to blame for for listening to him it is still not the fault of them completely out of 100% honesty for that 'crime'. If you have seen several movies about the Lord you will find that he is actually a very sweet person and has helped several people and has made several miracles; for he is the Massiah. He promised in the Old Testament that he would never again get rid of all people by creating a flood and he has given us the choice to choose our fates and our destiny; it all depends on ourselves. If you ask the Lord to forgive you for your sins he will forgive you. The only possible reason he would not forgive you is for not following his word or for committing Murder in any possible form. If you look into it you will be able to understand that the Lord is indeed the good guy, you just have to think that these were decisions and choice he had to make. And as for another thing the Lord does not degrade women; you must look into it first and realize along the way that he does not degrade women, for we are surely just as much equal as the men. Pray to the Lord and ask for his forgiveness and your future should be bright. For the Lord wishes to prosper us and give us a future. Thou should not shun the name of the Lord and question his being. Such as you saying "Fuck God" or saying "He's Evil" is wrong and sinful; for you are shunning the Lord when all he truly wants is to show you that his name is full of victory and love and he wishes to prosper us and not to hurt us; which is one of the reasons Heaven is for. It is thou's choice who thou chooses to follow; and who you choose to follow reveals your fate. Even though God created Hell, one of the most likely reasons (now I'm not sure about this) God created Hell is to send all the evil people of the world. To separate the Good and the Evil; for if he were to send the Evil to Heaven; the Good would most likely not be sparred. Thus it's better to separate the Good and the Evil. All the same the Lord is worthy and full of amazing potentials and should not be shunned.

goat-mother In reply to FinnishEcoSocialist [2014-07-03 06:45:54 +0000 UTC]
Aha, the incest wasn't true; the Bible states having God create cities and towns of people in a verse.
He didn't kill first born babies, a pharoah of Egypt did because God had said he was to bring a person to save his people from the pharoah.
And he did the flood for a reason: to kill the evil in the world. The ENTIRE Earth was filled of evil people and he had to stop it. He promised he would never flood the Earth again and to show a sign he will keep the promise, he made a rainbow after the floods.

Actully, God hardened the Pharao's heart so he would not release the Jews. And seeing how the Pharoa wasn't able to let the Jews go even if he wanted it, thousands of innoscent people were tortured and many babies were murdered by God.

God created Adam and Eve because God wanted to share his love and have a creation to love and be loved by, and be happy.
God didn't do anything, it was the pharoah's fault. It's like saying "Well it's kinda the rape victim's fault he raped her". God was the victim here.
Lmao, it sure didnt. But God will never flood it again.

Well you do know, it would've been that way if not for Satan tricking Adam and Eve into sinning.
Blame Lucifer for people not being happy and such.
He actually told a prophet and word spread throughout and the pharoah knew of course, and in order to try to avoid it, he ordered to have the babies killed so nobody would try.

He...actually is.
I mean THINK about it; so far he hasn't done a single thing that would warrant Mankind to love him. He gave us free will - but when people used their free will to stop praising him and just live their lives, he wiped them out with a flood.
But more to the point - History is written by the Winners. Since God technically "won", the Bible - with the pens of man - was written from the perspective of HIM being the benevolent and loving deity, and Lucifer being the destroyer, who only wants to screw it up.
But think about it...Lucifer was made with more free will than other angels, so basically God PLANNED for him to rebel. But was it even rebellion? It was more like, a child wanting to grow up to be just like his father - and for that, Lucifer got seriously bitch-slapped.
And how about that stuff about how Lucifer wants to tempt you to the Dark Side to join his cause and if you join him, you'll burn forever and be Tortured in Hell for all Eternity...That doesn't make sense. It honestly sounds like a lie - propaganda written from the "Winning Side" to try and scare you into staying away from the Devil.
But think about it - if you want to rally support to your cause, logic would dictate that you would try to make YOUR place a lot nicer than Heaven by comparison. WHO knows what Hell is really like - because we've got a book that was written by a bunch of Sheep with their Noses shoved so far up God's ass they're coming out his throat!

"so far he hasn't done a single thing that would warrant Mankind to love him" Are you kidding me? He, as our creator, gave us literally everything! And whetever those creations of His were to treat eachothers nicely or not is no longer up to Him due the free will we have. You see, we can only choose to do wrong and in a imperfect world you can`t have/expect a perfect, all-around-good solution for things, so shit happens, whetever our Creator is perfect or not.
"Lucifer was made with more free will than other angels" Says who? I belive pretty much any other angel could've done the same mistake and fell like Lucifer did. Heck, how could've Lucifer managed to convince other angels if he was the only one with an actual free will? Angels are all alike, just like us humans. Hitler is generally considered one of the evilest man ever, but who knows how many people would do the same, or even worse, if they had the same power he had.
As for why God let that happend, that's a big question, but I belive there's an explanation for that. You see, there's only one Truth, one way the whole existent can make a perfect sense and God is suppose to be the ultimate being, the one who makes that all happen. In the beginning Heaven was pure, but that didn't quarantee it's residents, angels, could do no wrong. What if Lucifer had to fall in order to other angels to learn this, the potential danger of free will, so that they could later become good by their own will, which, in my book, is the best thing in the world?
Then He tried to create another perfect world and succeed! It only got ruined by Satan, whose existent and choises God could not completly seize in the name of free will. Therefore our kind, living in this perfectly designed world (both physical and spiritual) are destinied to live along all these hardships to gain the ultimate good; doing the right thing by our free will. And when our physical world's time is up, when everything that is supposed to happen here has been fulfilled, can God finally destroy the Evil for good! For everyone that were to exist have made their choises, the choises that wont change despite the free will, because everything that needed to happen for things to be perfect, has happened. We can live in the Heaven, God's Kingdom, rest assured that never again will there be Evil of any kind; God has kept His Word that He made known for us through the Bible!
As for Lucifer's fall, he did the same mistake he's making us to do; not appreciate all those great things God has given us. If he really was innocent and wise, he would had been happy with everything he already had and not desired for more! Angel or human, eternity in Heaven for someone not making the right choise would be even worse than the Hell (which is not actually eternal; a hebrew word used to describe it can also refer to "end of an era", like the flames of some city also mentioned in the Bible)! Needless to say, he was really angry and bitter towards God and thus wanted to destroy everything He loved...in Hell. For that was all he was capable of; only God has power to create.

*sigh* Listen Sheep - if you wanna keep kissing God's ass in the hopes that he'll actually use you for something more than just a lamb for slaughter, that's your choice...But you're seriously in the Wrong Place for it.
Basically - everything you said up there in that comment is full of half-truths, dead-ends, and contradictions. All the while ignoring the hypocrisy that the "Good Book" praises. And it just shows how much you stick your head in the sand and ignore what is plainly obvious.
Because how can God truly be all Good unless there's a Negative Parallel to measure his goodness against. Therefore, he CREATED his enemy to eventually become an enemy. Which is Not fair. It would be like if someone raised you to a Super Villain that they would one day battle and defeat, just to glorify themselves!
BUT...I'm not gonna argue this with you, because I've been in this conversation before. And I know that NOTHING that I say is going to convince you. But what I do know, is that for a religion that claims to be All Good and All Loving, their Holy Book has a lot of screwed up stuff in it. It's like they've set a standard that is impossible to live up to; you can either try to live your life, or tirelessly devote your life to God. And those who just want to live life (and enjoy it more) end up being punished for it.
If you're okay with living like that, good for you. But you should ask yourself...do you really believe in it this much...or is this the faith that someone else Forced onto you? ...Consider that.

Sure, I might annoy some people here, but whetever or not they should be annoyed by me, is another topic. Besides, I can already tell, that your views (that does not require belief, but merely knowing and understanding it) of the Bible are wrong.
The chronological beginning of the Bible is not the creation of the physical world, but the events of Heaven. Back when Lusifer was the mightiest of angels, one standing closest to God Himself. Seeing all the praises He reserved, Lusifer became envious and wanted all that. And just like that he started to belive that he could do better, that he could surpass God, his Allmighty Creator!
What was he thinking? What made he think he had any reason, let alone change, to overpower All-powerful being? How was that any good? How would he have done things better than God, who only after Lusifer's fall decide to create the Earth, that Satan later ruined by sin and death? And how come you completly ignored the fact, that Satan is the reason why anyone dies? He is the one responsible for everyones death, not God.

Ok then let me ask you this...
How many wars were wagged in the name of god, in order to spread his name and get more followers?
the answer is many, the crusades is a fine example.
now how many were fought with the intention of destroying the devil?
not that many if any, and very few that actually targeted him were largely wrong, the Salem witch trials is a good example.

wakaflockaflame1 In reply to Kitty-Belikova [2014-04-25 03:00:32 +0000 UTC]
You just answered your own question,in the NAME of God. As in, "in the name of Kitty-Belikova, I pronounce war!". You should really look into alot of these wars and don't just look at the surface, just because people CLAM God doesn't mean they are in the name of God.
π: 0 β©: 0
TheAntsaBoy94 In reply to Kitty-Belikova [2014-04-18 13:15:17 +0000 UTC]
That was people's doing. Just because they says it is "in the name of God" does not mean that it is necesserily His actual Will. The Crusaders are a fine example alright.
And again, it's still Satan's fault that there are death and sin in this world in the first place. His, who should not had had anything to complain about his original status and position in Heaven in the first place!
So my question stands: what did God do to deserve this resistance in the Creation, both physical and spiritual?
