Very good! I really think she suited Hikaru more... The series, especially close to the end, hinted at how Minmay needs someone like Hikaru and Hikaru needs someone like Minmay. Also, at the entirety of the show this relationship was well searched and developed... So it kinda made me hoping that they would end up together. Can't see how he ended up with Misa, it feels like the creator just decided out of the blue-especially when you think how many times he chose Minmay..only to chose Misa randomly at the last 10 minutes. It feels wrong even in DYRL, but at least it's more excusable there..Well, that's me at least

thanks! all I have to say is that Misa is TOO MUCH for poor Hikaru, who was always running like a jerk to MinmayΒ΄s sellfishness...
but I LOVE how this series ended, it is what makes it unique

I've been watching it over and over these past few days. Apparently they're for the Pachinko game? I watched them all in a row and its like this amazing recap of the entire show. Animation isn't Macross Frontier level, but its just so great to see the classic characters back again I didn't mind. And yes, I got chocked up seeing Claudia mourning Roy Focker...

oh yeah, I felt the same. I downloaded the clips so I can watch them on the tv, lol. As you said, no Frontier quality (but that is something really hard to reach for any other anime series) but so awesome that made me swoon over the images. Minmay got some "Sheryl" treatment in the clips. Funny and touching, and we must also mention the valkyries dog fights are STUNNING.

Oh dear. Me and my bro were just laughing at the Shao Pai Long sequence. *ahem* definitely way more fans service was done to poor little Minmay!! Like her clothes was a size too small, if you know what I mean. And I really like how they keep sneaking in Global and the bridge bunnies. I realized I love these characters way more than any of Macross recent casts....

oh sure, we love them more than all the rest. the Macross F cast is absolutely amazing though, but the feelings about them are , how to say it... "different". Maybe because in the 1980Β΄s Macross , the seriesΒ΄ cast (and us) were more innocent.

Now that I think about it, I liked how some of the F cast was characterized in the TV show (lady that drives the monster, the flamoyant guy with afro), and the movie, namely with Ranka and Sheryl. But yes, the vibe of these two casts are quite different. I can see these shows following trends, though I'll always be partial to the classic

bueno, justamente! te cuento que estoy terminando una coleccion hermosisima que salio en kioskos de todo Robotech en DVD , y lo mejor es que vienen 4 capitulos por disco, pero en las dos versiones! es simplemente genial, el audio de la original es inimitable, por mas remasterizacion que le hagan.

no solo los dos audios, sino que son dos versiones! imagen y audio y escenas y opening , todo original , y la remasterizada, con los nuevos opening y ending, nuevo audio, y sin censura

na, aki en chile un periodico esta sacando la coleccion completa de robotech... pero con el audio antiguo y la calidad antigua en una presentacion muy pobre.. y .. agh >.< por eso kiero ir a argentina a comprarme esa coleccion (aparte aki esta todo muy caro... alla algunas cosas son mas baratas)
