Well, that permit to Eryn learn that launch a not-so-much train horse in shows is not a good idea. What ? That's obvious ? Well, not really for her ! xD

Story :

"All of this hadn't started so badly." Caelyne was thinking, looking the mess in the show jumping arena. However, she had warned Eryn about the fact that Fanta wasn't enough trained for this at home, before the show. She had warned Eryn the day before, too. And just before loading the horses for the journey to the show. But her employee is stubborn, and the mare is her property, so, as the show-jumping rider have insisted on she was confident about the fact that the mare was ready, Caelyne have let it go. And here was the result. Well, in the beginning, the previous day, all was OK, and Fanta seems really nice, quiet and adorable - as she can be. She was focused and volunteer during training. As in the warm-up arena. Even the beginning of the jumping course was nice, the mare was incredibly concentrating. But... In the middle of the course, the devil woke up. And Fanta begin to become infernal. She was overheating a lot, launching her butt in any steps, looking all around her, neighing to Shoot and other horses, who obviously answer to her, doesn't helping Eryn to maintain Fanta focused. The following jumps have been crossed whatever, but finally, the jump's refusal happened. Eryn was clearly upset, trying to motivate again her mare, to take her back to a focus state. But Fanta doesn't seems to agree with the idea. And Caelyne, powerless, can just watch that. The stable's owner sighted.

"Huh, that a kind of... Sad to see this, hm ?" said a voice behind her, which make the girl jumping with surprise. She turn her around and spot Matthew, who was coming to see the show-jumper girl perf. Caelyne nodded her head to agree.
"Oh yeah... And that's not like I've warn Eryn a lot about the fact that this mare is particular and need a high training before going to a show. But you know her. She haven't care at all."
"I know." answered Matthew. "But as a manager, see the good side of it : Eryn will learn a big lesson today : never be too hurry and too confident with horses, even if the horse is perfect at home."
Caelyne thought about it for few seconds. She make a half-smile.
"Yes... But I would prefer to have avoided it before it's happened. That's just ridiculous."
Mat make a weird face, like he do when he disagree with people.
"Don't say that. Who never do mistakes ? Certainly not you. Not me either nor Eryn or anyone else around us here. Be sensible. At least, we now know that Fanta can be awful a minute after being good. Unpredictable character."
Caelyne look right at him.
"Nothing is unpredictable, despite all. We can improve Fanta's focus and character, with training, foot work, a lot of time and a lot of indulgence with her."
Mat smile.
"I agree. Well, look, Eryn have succeed to bring back Fanta to work !"
And yes, after one and only jump refusal, the rider was back to the course, in a focus state and a cadenced galop, definitely more quiet than few seconds before. The couple finally manage to finish their turn whithout more than few kicks in the airs by Fanta. Caelyne and Matthew goes to welcomed Eryn to the arena's entrance. And when they arrived, they noticed how Eryn seems upset, but not especially about her horse, but more about her.
"Well ?" asked Caelyne whithout any world.
"You were right." answered Eryn. "I should have listen to you and take Violet or Hang for this show. Fanta is too inexperienced for it now. She need a lot more training before participate in another show."
Caelyne smiled. "Yes, she need. But you have successfully catch her again. That was not so bad, only one refusal. But as Mat said, you've learn a good lesson today : do not be impatient with your horses."
Eryn smiled too. "I swear to you I will not be anymore. I'll focus on my head horses for show. This course was too ashamed for me."
Whithout anymore words, the three friends returns to the boxes of their dedicated arena. They will have to be ready for the dressage classes, and in the interval, Caelyne and Matthew wanted to go to see some of the Red-Dragon horses and to meet Leon Winchester, maybe to get a slot to breed one of their horse with ? Who knows. But Caelyne knew that this Zlesdin stallion, Jaggerpilot, seen before during the day, stay in her mind...
