Description This is a drawing of Hamlet I did a really long time ago. It was edited in photoshop 7.0 over a drawing done with prisma pencils and water colour pencils on watercolour paper.

thanks! unfortunately no. I never heard back from anyone that was telling me that they saw it published. I'm guessing they were mistaken.

really do have a book with this cover!

It was illustrated... and all the characters were there too. Ophelia, Horatio... all of them you name it. How come you didn't post all of them here?

Anyway...

Beautiful work. XD

wow...this work is so old...until I found out it was actually PUBLISHED I totaly forgot about it. I don't even know where the original is...

I feel so gyped that I didn't KNOW that my art was PUBLISHED. I did do this back in high school (feels like a million years ago - but might be closer to ten) and submitted this one in particular to a journal for my high school along with the other water colours. *shrug* guess someone REALLY liked them, huh? I suppose I should be happy that someone liked my work that much.

If I can ever find the other ones, I might get around to posting them. This was always my fave though.

Wonder if I could start getting paid for my published art......

It wasn't on a website. Your artwork was on a book of my friend's. It was fully illustrated. The drawings really do resemble yours.

a book? really? now I'm really interested. I never legally published any of my work, especially for a book. Can you give me more information on it?

Actually, the book was my friend's. She has an account here in DA. Her name's KAIplue. You can ask her if you want.

thanks! Hamlet is one of my favourite plays - ever. I'm thinking about doing more art from Hamlet - when I can make time for it.

That's a thing of beauty (and of utter talent if it's Photoshop, it looks just like a watercolor). And it's perfect for the play--the depressing scenery, the sense of precipice behind him ("The very place puts toys of desperation, Without more motive, into every brain That looks so many fathoms to the sea And hears it roar beneath"), the color. And he just looks like a Hamlet ought to look. Wish only that my Hamlet looked so perfect!

Favorite-d!
