It's fully digital: 70% - Paint Tool SAI and 30% - Photoshop

I'm still rather new to digital, any times on how to get that kind of realism? and what did you do with it in photoshop that could not be done in PTS?

Nothing special, just tried a few basic brushes, plus some color adjusting. I can show you an older version, that was made 100% in SAI without Photoshop, if you want.

This is a painting I'd like to have on canvas and put it on my living room wall. I've been to places that look like this and you captured the atmosphere perfectly. It has amazing depth which is emphasized by Trixie's presence in the foreground. Her positioning in the bottom right corner works well to bring the vastness of the setting to life, leaving the scene to the landscape which is the real star here. The muted colour palette gives a serene feel. All of this makes me want to know more about all the adventures she's been through, not just that sad episode in Ponyville.

Somehow, I rather like seeing Trix travel. And I sure as hay like that landscape. It's like something that should have been in Skyrim but wasn't. And just generally pretty fine by itself. I really like the cloud and fog effect and how the grass transitions and elevations are rendered in tones and shading/highlights. And that's some wonderful water stream work, too. And that one pine in the middle ground. Love it. Well done.
