Yah I agree, the US army isnt all that good. The Marine Corps is by far better, and yes you do hear about Marines jumping on grenades to save their friends lives. The army cleans up after the Marines did the fighting.

True but one does have a better fighting record than the other, and one is always brought in when something needs to be taken and the other occupies afterwards. They are very different. They both attract a very different person.
