The problem being though, that a lot of people dont think it really looks good. The artist is talented, and has a wide skill set, but you cant just go around saying everyone who dislikes it for one reason or another is just flat out wrong because there are people that like it. Its a matter of opinion, not fact. You cant just cancel other people out. Shado makes some decent points.

I agree with you. You are allowed to feel uncomfortable with the way something is drawn. Constructive criticism isnt bad. That being said, I mean real constructive criticism, not people complaining. If you do nothing but suck an artists ding dong all day long they wont get any better because they wont know if anything is particularly wrong or not. Feedback is important. If they want to turn their particular profile into a safe space, they can turn off comments.

It depends. We dont really know if the artist meant the piece to be this way or not. I feel like if we knew how they felt about the finished pic and whether they accomplished what they set out to do we would all have more of an idea what they are looking for for feedback. I usually love the artists work, but this one feels really weird for me to look at. I cant really describe the issue I have with it, but I wont go actively berating them either. I do agree with you on your point though, complaining for the sake of complaining without putting up anything helpful is EH.

uhh... seems like u dont get the point... its not about liking what image is or not its about denying its right of existance wich most of those ppls do (by saying those body is a mistake). I for example hate lolis but i dont run around and demend to delete all arts of it... get what i mean now?

In my opinion, besides the gravity-defying breasts, her waist is horribly thin. She has no ribcage, and it seems the artist tried to give her some muscles? But if she tried to make that posee her waist would be way thicker especially if you gave her muscles! Also, i think the pose would be less bizzare if her butt wasn't perfectly on the side but at least a bit more leaning to the left. Also, her leg which is on the top here probably couldnt have the knee touching the ground. As of right now it seems hardly possible.... also the butt is very big compared to the rest of the body, but if the waist wouldnt be so tiny it wouldnt really be an issue.
Overall the waist area is the worst part of this picture, and i feel that if it werent so exaggerated this picture wouldn't look so bizzare. On the flip side the sand and water texture is amazing, and the shading on her body and outfit too. (though Id work on the hair shading, its a bit out of place)

I'm sorry, but all these tutorials of people on how to draw breast... y'know what... are actually fine. Teach people on how things are supposed to look. Preferably without bitching on how everybody is doing it wrong like you're the one who invented tits!
When boobs are drawn "wrong", for god's sake, let the artist draw them the way they want without keeping in mind every physical force that plays on them. It's fantasy! We can manipulate bodies any way we want in art and fantasy.

Gorgeous. But it looks like gravity is pulling her sideways towards the sea if you turn it upside down. The position of her hips and waist are certainly possible (and not painful unless you have back problems-I tried it myself), but the camera angle on her waist compared to her butt make them look impossibly disproportionate.
The suit is a paradox. It bends with her hips and butt, but it would have to be rigid in the chest to hold her breasts at that angle.
The coloring and shading, the face and lighting are beautiful as always. It just looks like a bad camera angle.

This feels like a fail on so many levels, and I follow Sakimi-chan. I've no issue with lewd pics. She just looks *too* unrealistic here, and the boobs just look like balls of plastic...
I'm not trying to flame; I love most of Neo's work; this just came as a total shock because I like their stuff.

All im trying to say is that the Characters in Neos pics are more and more looking like theyre made by Sakimi, aka, poses that look extremely unnatural and that your own spine starts to hurt by looking at it
Not only that but also boobs being like they dont give a shit about gravity, hips so big that you feel sorry for any chairs they might be sitting on etc.

Okay, lets get this down
First of all, i dont have my life dedicated to Art like they do and im also a slow learner... Plus, i already know that im bad atm, but thanks for the motivation boost, dear <3
Second, skill is now a requirement to be able to critisice someone else? Thanks for telling me how Journalism/Critisism works, this really brightened up my life
Third, the reason why Sakimichan is the biggest Artist, is because she is the embodiment of Fanservice and uncreativity (uncreativity less cause there still are worse people out there). All she does is oversexualizing female characters with big boobs, thick asses, thin thights, sometimes doing Yuri ships that dont make sense at all with the only thing they would have in common is that theyre loved by many, showing as much skin as possible and 95% giving out NSFW Versions of them, all nicely packaged for those who cant get their hands out of their pants. BTW the NSFW Versions arent even made by herself... Not gonna say who, but the NSFW Versions are done by another big Artist here. Oh and dont come at me with that she draws males too and sometimes even her own Persona... Just dont... Counting down all the pics with males on them would only make out about 5% of her gallery
Oh and before i forget, yes there might be signs of hate in what i said in the other message, but you know why?
Cause i have a sincere disgust towards those whoring out NSFW+Fanart and getting away with it just because they are skilled in shading and maaaybe a little bit of anatomy. She could do so much with her increadile potential, but no, she ends up wasting it on bandwagoning...
Just look at Yuumei. She has done so much with her Skills. She has done increadible amount of pics showcasing how disgusting humanity actually is, has created lots of beautiful Comics with good and understandable Storytelling, hell she even got a personalized Award by the DevTeam (which btw your precious Sakimi-Chan still hasent gotten yet ;D)

I'm not a die-hard Sakimi fan, but she posts VERY often compared to yuumei, and honestly I believe that's why she surpassed Yuumei in watchers within the past few years. The more often you post, you're just bound to get more views and watchers. (yuumei is a godly artist though you are correct)
And I really didn't mean to offend you. I am just really tired of seeing 30+ hate comments in someones art section in EVERY upload. To me that's killing a drawing spirit and I mentally wouldn't be able to handle that much shut down doing something I LOVE. I personally think sexy girls (oversexualized even) is perfectly healthy...I just want people to support others, and not constantly put them down. I'd comment this to anyone being so disgustingly rude on ANY artists comment section. It doesn't matter who the artist is. Positive criticism is one thing, but 90% of whats on here isnt positive AT ALL.
I hope you do improve as an artist in a way that YOU choose to. I plan to do the same.

Well, one factor might be that Sakimi is just faster than the average human or Yuumei slower, maybe even both
But what i think for sure is a heavy factor, is that Sakimi doesnt have to worry about perspectives, storytelling or even worse, perfectly delivering the message she wants to tell, characterbuilding and complex/detailed looking backgrounds as much as Yuumei does. Its not hard to slap others Characters on the screen. Also, Yuumei is involved in so so many things IRL so she is left with less time for Art than Sakimi

YOu do? Then i guess youre just scrolling through the wrong Comment Section. Sure, i stopped looking through them on huge Artists long ago, but those i really admire, are still getting stalked down by me, unlike on i.e. YouTube which ive forsaken looong ago for a reason.
Well, as wonderful as it sounds, this sadly isnt possible. Its like Ying-Yang: In everything good, is a piece of evil and vice versa and with everyone praising the artists, there are those who just wont like certain stuff and hope that said Artist might take that and improve. Though this doesnt mean that i approve of hate comments... No, i find them disgusting af and usually just ignore them (unless theyre directed towards me, then i barely know any means of being soft-hearted). But yeah, thats the reason why i just simply said "pls dont become sakimi v2.0" and nothing else. The other things i said, was because someone asked me what i meant with that and i just simply stated what i dislike about what Sakimi turned into from the day on i watched her
And yes, its all opinion based, but that just simply is what critisism is all about... Expressing your opinions and mine is simply that people should be mroe original and less bandwagoning. Theres a reason after all why Art Schools barely accept Fanart in the application
I also dont mind sexy girls, but dedicating your time just to purely draw those leaves a bad taste on me. Even when i personally draw them, i feel a bit disgusted of myself. And yeah, i do have a woman with oversized boobs as one of my main OC's but she started off as a 1st April joke which, after giving a bit of story, began to grow to my heart and so i tried my hardest to at least make her personality different than most busty female Characters have (i.e. seductive, exploiting their body for their own twisted plans and whatever other stereotypes are out there)
Oh and btw, spreading hate is as bad, if nto even worse than negative critisism, so mind watching out what youre saying to others, espicially if they werent talking to you to begin with. If the artists themselfes ignore the comment section then its their problem but even if, i think theyre able to defend themselfes. Im sure there are people like me who are generally open for longer conversations involving opposite opinions, but to those who are not like that, youre just making yourself look like a generic piece a shit who gets offended by everything they slightly dont agree with

I totally understand where you come from but I think you don't quite understand Sakimichan's goals. I am sure she's not trying to become a fine arts artist but she's trying to make money with her art. And as long as people will keep throwing money at her for this kind of art she won't stop. I think she gets about $30'000 if not more on patreon each month. You should not criticize Sakimichan or people like her but rather the consumers who prefer to pay money for unoriginal pinups over original and meaningful art and stories. Artists who draw fanart are way more likely to gain popularity online and this solely depends on the consumers and not the artists themselves.
