Quartz the Rose is a pretty mild-mannered guy who hates conflict. He stays by Queen Honey's side as her personal bodyguard when he can. The job usually gets stressful for him since she has a bad habit of sneaking out of the castle overnight. During confrontations he will usually try to avoid fighting by outsmarting the enemy. Quartz has the ability to create barriers of light for protection. He can also heal injuries on himself or others. Quartz often gets complimented on how good he smells.

Check the submission date. I drew this back in 2010. Way before Steven Universe came out. This character was inspired by the rose quartz, an actual gem found in real world.

Yeah I don't like to give Quartz the "seedrian" title for a number of reasons. Seedrians are evolved alien plants whereas Quartz is just your normal run-of-the-mill flower. Plus seedrians all look alike to me

Soooo... he acts like the Onion Knight during a confrontation, his abilities are of a white mage, and he wears Rob Dyrdeks Tag body spray? I think my head hurts...
Either way, ignore the top as a joke of how stupid i am, This is very nicely done! The sholderblades add a touch of how tough he really is, along with the hairstyle, even if it is a rose. Very Good job!
