After 2 years of barely doing any personal artwork, and abandoning social media, I decided to return and create a comic for a show that has been forgotten as of late. I've been wanting to create a fan comic for this show for years, and now I've finally gained the confidence and energy to create it. Loved the show as a kid, but knew it was flawed and that some things were unexplained, like in it’s lore and character development. So I made this to create a way to explain some of the mysteries left by the show, and create a new adventure for the squad. I also just really wanted to start on a comic in general.

It’s been 10 years since Twin Masters and HighRoller were taken down. Much of Hidden Kingdom has changed since then. So for the 10th anniversary of the legendary defeat, Apetrully decides to celebrate with all the original members of Big Green. Most have been found except for one member: Lin Chung. He has completely disappeared after the defeat and it’s up to Apetrully and the former First Squad to find him. As the venture out each character will have their own side story. The story for this idea has been in development since March 2020, or the 10th year anniversary of the airing of Hero: 108 in the US.

Hero: 108 The Search for Lin Chung is a fan-made continuation and is not canon to the original series created by Yang-Ming Tarng. Please keep an open mind here as this contains both an expansion of the existing lore, and completely new lore that most likely isn’t canon. While this is originally a kids show, this also has a more serious tone to it as most of the characters are now adults.
