Should've dodged.First and foremost, let me preemptively clear a few things up:
1) And I did not make this to debate about the movie or the scene being parodied.
2) I am not trying to suggest that Piccolo should have killed Superman and Zod at the end of this film. Superman is my favorite DC character and Piccolo is like my tenth favorite Dragon Ball character.
3) I am not trying to suggest that Piccolo would defeat Superman and/or Zod in a fight.
4) Am I the only one who thought of this ending?
And whether or not you like the movie, you have to admit, this was the best DBZ film that's ever entered American theaters.
(...okay, could the Special Beam Cannon penetrate Superman's torso? If you go by the research in ScrewAttack's Death Battle video of Goku vs. Superman, Ki isn't considered magic, so Superman has resistance to it, BUT if we take the drilling motion of the beam into account, would it be enough to completely break through, assuming its energy equaled Goku's maximum power output? I would love it if a physicist could explain this to me.)

It had actually been a while since I really watched or read Dragon Ball, and as of right now, Piccolo is probably actually my second favorite character behind Mr. Satan.

He turned Majin Buu good and saved creation by making a speech. He is also one of the few characters in DBZ to actually undergo character development. And unlike Vegeta and Piccolo (and Tien and Yamcha and Android 18 and...), it is not from a villain to a good guy, but from a glory-obsessed phony to a genuine hero.

Also no no they dont, saiyans move WHEN DODGING or FIGHTING CLOSE RANGE at the speed of sound.
Kryptonians at full power like Supes can move fast enough to go to other galaxies in minutes, thats lightyears per minute. Saiyans use energy beams too blow up planets, kryptonians punch planets to atoms.... or stare at it reallly hard (thats not a joke once a Kryptonian stronger then Supes flexed his vision centers and crushed a planet he was looking at, though he was the brolly of krypton sorta, so special case there).
