A set of mildly-abused Prismacolor pencils, along with an assortment of other types of colored pencils I conveniently keep stashed in a shoebox for most of the time, anything ranging from Crayola to other inexplicable brands. I do rely far more heavily on the Prismas, however, since I prefer their texture and find it far easier to blend with. Thank you for the kind words as well! Orcas have to be my favorite of all the big 'cetes!

This is so colorful and unique! It sorta reminds me of those marine pictures that are on notebook covers. The simplistic background adds to the majesty of the overall piece.

I have the biggest fear of whales/orcas, even in art...but for some reason i'm not scared of this one.
It's so beautiful, the colours blend so nicely and the bubbles look so realistic, as does the water. The border looks really nice too- makes it look three-dimentional, which i imagine is the look you were aiming for. The shading is amazing, too. It looks lovely.
