Description
An old step-by-step tutorial on rendering a waterdrop. Compare to an opaque round object. I hope somebody finds it useful.This assumes a uniform environment with no reflections.

Same principles apply to eyes and gems. They refract the light, so the side farthest from the light source is actually brighter. The side closer to the light source appears darker, except of course for the small dot of highlight.

omg, the exact thing I looked for! I guess that if the beckground colour was diffrent, you will have to change the colour of the base colour :3 Thank you
