Less than three kind of brushes on the real story of the mmorpg game. XD Otherwise it's more or less artistic license.
But if you want the TL;DR version of the plot, here it is:
People go to Caballa Island ( the Trickster world ) for their own personal reasons. ie: escaping their real lives, finding adventure, becoming famous.
You start off at first job, newbieness. And work your way up to the highest which is 3rd job.
Plenty of notoriety, power and fame to be found with 3rd job. c: Tricksters.

In the game you have to kick arse and gain XP and level up. In this more realistic world this comic takes place it, people get stronger the good old fashion way: training.. or through magic. 8B By finding special items, or learning new skills.. yeah.
