Description
An old pic that never wanted to be finished. But finally I've gotten it to my satisfaction, enough that I can post it here on DA.Such a sad tale is Axel's. He does everything for the whiny, self absorbed Roxas- and the boy doesn't even give his feelings of friendship or more- the time of day.
And when the time of parting is nigh (people who have played know what I'm talking about) Roxas doesn't even say goodbye.. But the idiot WILL smile at Namine at the end. What a jerk. *Biased Axel fan talking*
Ah well.. I guess that's what you get from subtracting 13 from 8.

This picture and all the comments its gotten sum up Kingdom Hearts in a nutshell for a die-hard Akuroku fan since KHII hit the shelves. I keep telling myself that Roxas does love him...it's just his way of showing it. And as the novel says, he knows they'll meet again.

I haven't touched the game since xD. I'm so depressed. This is amazing and so sad, but I love it so much. You are such an amazing artist and Id give anything to have your talent.

It is sad but Roxas did care. It was all Sora's fault in the first place. Sora just thought about how that was one more member out of the way. I seriously think Roxas was killed with Axel then and there by heart. He still had Namine though but...

Gah I never could stand Roxas anyway. He'd always slouch around and go "huh" every five seconds. I never realized how much of a jerk he really is until you pointed out. He doesn't even cry or have much of a reaction to his BEST FRIEND's death. *smacks Roxas*
Axel was so awesome. I was horribly disappointed when he died... I refused to use any keyblade but the one he gave Sora for the longest time XD
This picture looks fantastic. The pose is extremely well done and I like how you can't see Axel's face, but you can see Roxas's expression. The shading is great and black and white is perfect for this

This is so full of emotion, it's amazing.
I really like how you chose to do this in black and white, rather than color. It really transforms the whole feeling of the picture, and... I'm just so happy to see more black and white around.

I love this. The title alone is brilliant (subtract 13 from 8 and what do you get? A negative number. 8 is gone), but the art is also great. For once, it doesn't show Axel being obsessively clingly to Roxas, which is what most AkuRoku fanart does. Nope, Roxas is holding Axel and being sad. Very nice twist.
I'm sick of sobby wussy Axel, and Roxas the victim of unwanted affection. Make the blond prick feel remorse for once, ha.

You're welcome. It's a very nice change to see Axel treated with dignity. Really, I've all but given up on AkuRoku all together, I'm so sick of the fandom around it, and then I see a piece like this and remember why I liked it to begin with -- and it wasn't because I wanted Axel to go "u maek me feel lyke i have a hart lololol!!"

I know how you feel. I hate the term 'akuroku'... it's so fangirl Japanese. Makes me cringe. So I tend to keep to my own or deal with the select few fans who aren't crazy XD Ha.
