Description
An old pic that never wanted to be finished. But finally I've gotten it to my satisfaction, enough that I can post it here on DA.Such a sad tale is Axel's. He does everything for the whiny, self absorbed Roxas- and the boy doesn't even give his feelings of friendship or more- the time of day.
And when the time of parting is nigh (people who have played know what I'm talking about) Roxas doesn't even say goodbye.. But the idiot WILL smile at Namine at the end. What a jerk. *Biased Axel fan talking*
Ah well.. I guess that's what you get from subtracting 13 from 8.

I was mad too. I love Axel. I was mad that Roxas didn't even care about his death. But he said his happy goodbye with Namine when she erased his memory in the first place.

I didn't sort through the 5+ pages of comments, so I don't know if someone mentioned this or not, but: Roxas did have a reaction to Axel's death.
Right after Axel died, Sora entered the World that Never Was, and after fighting a bit or so, BAM! Roxas appears and battles Sora, enraged at the loss of Axel and feeling more confident on his own territory. So Roxas did respond to Axel's death.
At least that's my interpretation. >_>;

that's what i heard, too. it was mentioned SOMEWHERE from Squarenix that Roxas' reaction to Axel's death was him appearing before Sora.
it makes sense too...not that Roxas would be mad at Sora, but that Roxas probably remembered that one time when he left the organization, AND Axel, to find Sora, but never got the chance to do it.

theres a new scene in KH2 final mix+ that says axels death triggered roxas reappearing to fight sora. so the dude isnt completely insensitive twards axel

I couldn't agree more!! I really thought that when said part happened, there should have been at least SOME reaction from Roxas -- Considering also the fact that when he left Twilight Town, he "cried"!! And it's not like he'd never be back to visit, or anything! He needs to straighten out his priorities. XD ...Then again, I always wonder also, did he even ever remember...? Maybe that's why he didn't react.
Kingdom Hearts is confusing. XD But I am certainly faving this! It is an excellent work. :3

It is a shame that Roxas was like that, because Axel struck me as a Zack-like character with Cloud, whom I both thought were cute buddies together.
