Description
An old pic that never wanted to be finished. But finally I've gotten it to my satisfaction, enough that I can post it here on DA.Such a sad tale is Axel's. He does everything for the whiny, self absorbed Roxas- and the boy doesn't even give his feelings of friendship or more- the time of day.
And when the time of parting is nigh (people who have played know what I'm talking about) Roxas doesn't even say goodbye.. But the idiot WILL smile at Namine at the end. What a jerk. *Biased Axel fan talking*
Ah well.. I guess that's what you get from subtracting 13 from 8.

I know what your talking about, when Axel was dying I was like just waiting for Roxy to make an appearence...but it never happened! Damn that Namine, just has to steal all the men for herself, I mean seriously make up your damn mine you evil bitch or I guess whitch works too! Oh God I agree with your point of view about their story. D': The first time I finished KHII, when Roxas smiled in the end, it almost made me want to punch the TV. I thought I would never forgive Roxie. Dx
But I did realize that the Organization Roxas and the weird Roxas are almost two completely different people, it's like... Denial to make myself feel better. ><

I've honeslty, in all my life, never once saw art that made me want to cry, but you've done it, this is so heartwrenching, I adore it, the story just breaks your heart. Roxas was an idiot for not paying more attention to Axel (best character in all KH...if you will, hehe). Once again, beautiful work!!

What a beautiful and difficult pose, and it works really well in black and white.
And I never realized what a twat Roxas was until you got my attention. For god's sake, he cried when he left his friends in Twilight Town, he can't shed a tear for his ---best friend---? D8<
As I said up there, -everyone- was expecting in Axel's death scene to see Axel staring up and seeing Roxas in Sora. The closest Axel ever got to his friend was seeing a little bit of Roxas in Sora. :[ You have further cemented my love of Axel.

I read somewhere that they're expanding on that part on KH2: FM+ (something along the lines of Axel's death being the catalyst that wakes Roxas up inside of Sora - the reason why he faces off against Sora in the World That Never Was).
What can I say, I'm an AkuRoku fan? *winks* Yeah, I cried like a baby when Axel died.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I never liked Roxas. He never stpped that bloody self-absorbed whining and giving those OMG-I'msooo ANGST looks all the time. And that was before Axel even stepped into the picture and saw how much the poor guy sacrificed so much for Roxas, and all for naught. Poor Axel. I hold no reall ill will for Namine, though. It isn't her fault her suitor's a jerk.
As for the picture itself, it's fantastic, especially the shading.

Man, do you know what I think they should have done? I think that when Axel was looking up at Sora, there should have been a faded image of Roxas next to Sora looking down at Axel all sad-like. I would have cried.
I like the angle that Axel's head is at, and the entire atmosphere of the peice really reflects feelings of sorrow
