My personal headcanon nowadays features Kill la Kill as the turning point for the Earth of Universe 6. Beerus and Champa simply had their tournament in a timeline where the Life Fibers won.

it would make sense for the Dragonball Multiverse Webcomic, where a multiversal tournament is held in a life-less universe

The tournament was indeed held in the region of space between Universe 6 and Universe 7, but Earth-6 being a lifeless rock with no good food to offer was what pushed Champa to try and take Earth-7 (DBZ Earth) from Beerus. In a timeline where the events of Kill la Kill happened like in canon, for both parties the prize would have simply been to be able to use the Super Dragon Balls to have a wish granted. Ryuuko would also have been a viable candidate for a spot on Champa's team and probably replaced Magetta thanks to her potty mouth.

Either that or, when he first unlocked the Kisaragi form, Senketsu became a literal God Robe, as in living clothes able to channel God Ki. It would be a plausible explanation for Senketsu turning mostly red while in that form and it would open up the possibility of a Kisaragi Blue transformation.

I know, what I meant was that the Kaioshin of Universe 7 ended up the way they did because at the time there was no one who could stand in Majin Buu's way and not get curbstomped for it, so even a 50/50 chance of survival can be seen as an improvement over a sure death.

That's given, since they wouldn't have gone through the same kind of ordeal. However, I think their reaction on average wouldn't be completely negative in this instance, because none of the mortals they've seen using God Ki so far gained access to it without permission on purpose.

Maybe Life-fibers were Saiyans normal clothing, but when their planet got destroyed they needed new place to live and breed. The Life-fibers may have acted as power-limiters for incredibly powerful Saiyans.Β On an otherΒ hand,Β shapesifting satient clothes would have been realy usefull for beings, who turn into giant apes on full moonΒ and are capable of taking super energy forms. Saiyans themselves have enoughΒ lifeforce to share itΒ with "parasitic?" clothes, its just that other beings (like humans) are notΒ good enough food source,Β so they need to eat whole planets to live on.
