Description
Watercolor, 2016. Livadia, Tilos, Greece.Just moments before the mountains shade the setting sun over Livadia Bay. The end of a day with strong winds from Turkey which has made the sea look so vibrant. The beach and the mountains have turned golden and the evening sun is shining from the south west, right into the turquoise waves breaking right in front of me. Far away on the horizon in the east the silhouette of Turkey shines so beautifully. I'm just sitting here and I will sitt here until the gold turns into blue, then into indigo and until the first star is lit up and the moon rises over the bay... Hope you like it!

Great work with the colours! The watercolours work really well to show the transparency under the wave. I also love how dynamic it looks.

Wow thanks a lot for your kind words!! 😊 I painted this in Greece. It was a stormy but warm day and I was almost hypnotised by standing and watching the crystal clear water break over the pebble beach. I just had to try to paint it with all the turquoise and different blue shades... I’m so happy you like it! ❤️❤️❤️

Det var en riktigt vacker kväll! Jag är svag för turkost vatten mot blå himmel. För mig är det värme, en plats där jag vill vara. Palmer har en liknande effekt. Jag antar att jag gillar varma platser

Gorgeous colors! I also really like the little rivulets of water left on the sand from the previous waves; that's what makes this painting unique in my opinion.
