Description
I always imagined that Inspector Gadget was more machine than meat in the head, the way he doesn't respond appropriately to situations makes it seem like he perceives the world perhaps as a computer would. He constantly confuses his dog with criminals, and he's almost totally clueless- just like a poorly programmed PC fumbling around in a human body.

I like to think of the character this way because to me, it explains his whole attitude, and it makes him a bit less of an "Inspector Clouseau".
