centauri is a star, the closest one to us, u made star refs that felt stronger once i looked up the word knew its location in the galaxy and reread it

The way i see it, stanzas 1-5 is filled with passion and um like, heavy breathing? cause of the spaces. and the last stanza is where she falls asleep after um. being burned.

Words cannot express how deeply i feel for this..
It evokes so many feelings to spiral and then collide inside of me.. i want to smile, cry, swoon and scream all at the same time..
and i believe that's what love itself does to a person.

It's like you're trying so hard to make it all sultry and emotional, that the whole thing ends up sounding like it was pulled from the pages of a few discount store romance novels. The sheer Hallmark card sappiness is enough to turn me off real fast. Not to mention, I'd prefer to read a poem from left to right, nothing at all like the way you've the words arranged now. That's nothing less then extremely annoying.

Actually, I wasn't aiming for sultry, but yes I really was trying hard for the emotional bit. In what way does it resemble the novels; I honestly would like to know. Was it the wording, the imagery, what.
Mm, I can see what you mean about Hallmark.. but I don't quite feel my poem went that far. Maybe we have different standards, then.

I get the title! In the poem you mention "star" and Alpha Centauri is a star that is reletively close to our solar system (except the sun, of course XD ) It is also the brightest star cluster (being a couple stars close together and appearing as one to our naked eye) in the sothern constelation Centaurus.
