They Don't steal each others names.... they made them originally in different concepts. Even though a Cameron movie and a Cartoony one.
dont pout about it. everybody wins, you must see both movies like Avatar, and the upcoming The Last Airbender.

haha! i thought the same! when i saw the artwork for avatar (the one with the blue people) i was like "wait. WTF? what does this have to do with avatar?" and then i remember that the TLAB one had a different name. lol! first, they stole the name of one of my favorite cartoons. and (maybe gamers would notice.) they named the people after that annoying blue fairy from the legend of zelda game! seriously. (that is navi the blue fairy to the right)

Dude, I still get confused when people talk about how good Avatar was, because I always pop in with 'I know right! Too bad there wasn't another season.' or something like that and they give me weird looks lol. Talk about a face-palm moment. XD

My cousins and I have always loved ATLA!!! But we also saw Avatar and talk about both and are like "Wait, which one?" Also, my mom can't seem to grasp the concept the The Last Airbender (which I am calling Avatar: The Last Airbender) is something completely different, has nothing to do with Avatar with the blue people, and is NOT the sequel to Avatar!
