It's Luigi!And you know what I miss? That CAPE! They'll never bring it back, at least, maybe not in our lifetime. It's super fun but it's obviously broken, to the point where I kinda stopped using it in Super Mario World so I stop flying over everything!
Nerfing it would probably be the best option if they brought it back, but then it'd feel so... Wrong!

Yeah is kinda sad that it never made a come back and I don't doubt that the cape was the reason why I could beat Super Mario World as a kid.
And like is super broken, but would be fun if it was like a special item that you could use after beating the new 2D games.

Making it an unlockable item would be the coolest way for it to return, since there'd be no reason to nerf it and I always liked getting crazy things to play around with after beating a game.
Right now, there's no knowing when or why they'll bring it back, but we did get Raccoon Mario in New Super Mario Bros 2, so it's most likely waiting to happen.

Raccoon Mario I think is more recognized than the cape and are pretty much similar, maybe this is why they ignore the cape.
