Centuries into the future, the adventures of the mane six have devolved into legends and myths; and the Elements of Harmony have become fuel for adventurous young colts to try and find. The only one left to confirm the legitimacy of these tales is Princess Twilight Sparkle; the Princess of Friendship.

Twilight has long out lived her friends and doesn't go a day without missing them. She has made many friends throughout her long life, but none of them could ignite the same spark that her original friends did.

Princess Cadence still protects the Crystal Empire, but does so alongside her daughter Princess Flurry Heart. Flurry Heart is a strong, kind, and caring princess who is loved by everypony; not just those who live in the Crystal Empire. Cadence is extremely thankful that her daughter is there by her side. Flurry is a reminder for Cadence that the legacy of her late husband and Twilight's brother Shining Armor lives on in their daughter.

Ever since the passing of Princesses Celestia and Luna almost 1000 years ago, two young heirs have taken over the duty of raising the sun and the moon: Prince Sun Spot of the Sun Family and Princess Silver Flight of the Moon Family. These two royals are so far along the line of descendants that they share no relation to each other. However, that doesn't mean they don't love each other.

Prince Sun Spot and Princess Silver Flight have loved each other from the first day they met. Their wedding was the last royal wedding that the two sisters attended. During the reception, the sisters passed off their duty to the young couple knowing that it would be the last time they would see them. Ever since, the two have ruled Equestria with strong wills and kind hearts.
