Age: 59 months( 4 years 11 months)

Personality:
Ray is a "normally" kind tom who tries to help others as he can. In general Ray is a playful and doesn't often speak viciously,however, some cats have noted that he seems to almost have different personalities at times. What most cats see is Ray's go-lucky and loving disposition that fits his rank as healer. He tries his best to put others first and does everything he can to help.

His "secondary personality" as some claim is that a cruel and heartless fighter. Not many ever see this, but it's a truly terrifying change. He becomes cold and almost acts like Gajeel, but it's no pretense. Ray seriously stops caring about anybody around him, and just wants to take out whoever is angering him at that time. His mind shows its beastly nature as he charges like a crazed beast with no concern for his own health. (He just wants you dead)

Now, in reality Ray doesn't have multipersonality disorder. In fact his only "mental defect" is the fact that Ray often hears voices. He puts up fronts of kindness and severe ferocity. His real personality is a cold and calculating one. For all his crazy and fun-loving actions Ray is actually a vicious and cold cat. He doesn't really care what he has to do to get himself ahead in the end. While Ray does treat his empire kindly, but he does so because their dramas amuse him. Honestly, a lot of what Ray does is just to amuse himself: he heals cats because he thinks their gossip is stupid, and likes to hear how dumb they were in their fights.
Ray's personalities are the projections of the voices in his head, and he often uses different voices for the three of them. His "kinder personality's" voice is a gentle and soft one, his "cruel personality's" voice is deep and growling, and,finally, his real personality is a(surprisingly) deep voice with a soothing(and silky) tone.

eue When he truely cares for somebody he uses his normal voice otherwise you hear one of the other two ahaha! So his lover will hear his sexy smooth voice and nobody else 'cept maybe his momma.

Appearance: Ray is an averaged sized tom with pale yellow fur, a white under belly, and leopard-like markings. His hair is a spikey ruff that starts at his neck and goes over his face.(Between his ears is where it turns that gold shade) He has two studs on either side of the bridge of his nose. Ray's most striking feature would be his vibrant green eyes. While Ray himself isn't really sure of their origins he believes there may be some Green Empire blood in him. The black pearl around his paw is a gift from his mother.

History:
Ray is a Red cat through and through.(As far as his family openly recognizes anyhow) He was raised by his single mother. The tom was very protective of his younger sister and mother even as a child, and he would often throw little fits and get into fights with any cat who dared say anything. In general as a kitten Ray was a wild thing who nobody seemed to control or order around. He was out-spoken and rude. His poor mother's fur was going gray under all the stress of trying to handle her seemingly crazy child. The healer looked at him one day out of concern when his mother noticed the kit rambling wildly to himself while bouncing all around.(He looked very much like he was having a full on conversation...Like in cartoons ouo) The healer at the time decreed him "mentally disturbed", and from then on everybody seemed to avoid Ray like he would give them a disease. So, Ray let himself portray what they assumed he was.(He would hold conversations with himself,ramble,rave, and twitched) The now pupil-aged tom was furious with his empire mates, but at the same time feared he would be killed. However, he refused to let that stop him: Ray was determined to be himself. When he was first assigned a mentor Ray was to be trained as a Soldier...However, none of the others cats could get him to behave or even act like he cared. In fact, the tom fought like a rabbid animal.(Think a phycotic charge with no way to stop it unless you forcibly imobalize him) So,Ray's training as a soldier was stopped in its tracks. For a month or so the tom had no type of training as he struggled to figure out what he was suppossed to be doing. Eventually the head healer noticed his stunning ability to memorize and properly used herbs. He was chosen to be trained as a healer, and while Ray's jumpy,twitchy disposition made it harder for him to focus, but the tom easily got a grasp on what he was doing. It wasn't too long after he had gotten to the advance part of his training that he found Gajeel fighting off a blue while on a herb collecting trip. He sprang into action, and drove the blue off and helped Gajeel back to the empire's site. He helped the slightly younger tom and from then on the two were a bit closer. It wasn't too long after that when Ray became a full healer.
