Description
Here's my first deviation, dedicated to one of my favourite game series ever! DanganronpaFavourite Character: Junko Enoshima
I know I know, basic pick. But I can't help it, I just LOVE Junko so much. She's unpredictable, funny and a great villain. She's also a smartly written character. It's impossible for her to break character because of how she changes her personalities for the trill of it. Another thing I love about Junko is her design. It is fantastic. I love the usage of colours, the little Monobears and how unique and sexy it all looks.
Despised Character: Nagito Komaeda
He. Annoys. Me. So. MUCH. Easily one of the most polarizing characters and for good reasons. There's his fangirls for love him to death and then there's me. I kinda liked him in Despair Girls but other than that, he is so hatable to me! Even before his big reveal as the psycho villain we know him as now, I always hated Komaeda. His personality and obsession with Hope gets on me nerves, for some reason being no where near as likable as Junko's obsession with Despair. Also, the bagels joke isn't funny.
Overrated Character: Chiaki Nanami
Please don't kill me but... Chiaki is such a boring character in my eyes. She's like an uninteresting Chihiro. There's nothing about her personality or her design that I like at all, although I don't outright hate her. She's okay, just terribly overrated. Are you telling me people get "feels" over her? Jeez, lol.
Underrated Character: Sonia Nevermind
Although she didn't contributed too much to the plot, I honestly think Sonia is one of the most likable characters in all of Danganronpa. She's sweet, foreign and adorably quirky with her obsession for serial killers. She's also kind and caring and her relationship with Gundam is one of the best relationships/character interactions in the franchise. This sweet princess deserves to not be overlooked, in my eyes.
Funniest Moment: THAT EATING SCENE
Okay, maybe my humour is a tad immature but this scene was HILARIOUS. In it, Hiyoko being the little bitch she is poisons the food she helped make with a love potion she finds in Teruteru's stash. As a results, everyone starts acting awfully thirsty, almost ending in disaster as in an act of karma, Teruteru advances on Hiyoko until Nanami saves the day. This scene had me rolling. In particular the stuff with Mikan. Hilarious and also very suggestive, this scene is a very memorable one.
Saddest Moment: Mondo kills Chihiro
Everything about this scene was just heartbreaking. A sweetheart such as Chihiro dying, Chihiro's backstory which added even more tragedy to it and Mondo's motivation for killing him. Both characters are so honest and likeable and the entire time my heart was just wrenching through this scene.
Favourite Execution: Junko Enoshima
What? My favourite execution is that of my favourite character? Yes. It's such an amazing payoff and it's such a satisfying last execution for the first game. Junko can't seem to stay dead anyways but I don't think I'd really mind either way. The crazed and joyful expression she makes throughout her extreme execution are honestly what seal the deal for me though, it's so perfect for her character and adds a new dimension to it all. Also having it be a combination of all the other executions witnessed beforehand, it is PERFECT.
Despised Execution: Kyoko Kirigiri
Not technically an execution but I still didn't like this one. Kyoko's execution is shown as a possibility in the bad end. I was disappointed and unimpressed that it was the exact same as Naegi's and didn't have anything relating to her talent. Overall just underwhelming.
Most Disturbing Moment: Kotoko's past
Although I find the pasts of all the Despair Kids to be disturbing, Kotoko's really takes the cake. As a child, she was forced into prostitution by and alongside her mother and it's what caused her to hate adults as much as she does. Whenever Kotoko hears the word "gentle", it triggers memories of her past, where men would tell her they'd be gentle with her before raping her. This entire scene was appalling (although important and I am happy that it was put in, I guess) and it made me feel absolutely terrible for Kotoko. Scenes of sexual abuse will ALWAYS be the hardest for me to sit through though, edging this into the top spot for disturbing moments.
Favourite Pairing: Naegi X Kirigiri
It was tough between this and Junko X Mikan but I chose it in the end because of just how sweet and cute it is. In my opinion, Naegi and Kirigiri are the two characters with the most developed relationship, except for maybe Toko and Komaru, another close second. They have a wonderful chemistry and work really well off of each other. Kirigiri acts as Naegi's rock, helping him get through the events of Trigger Happy Havoc and they grow close and learn to trust and care for each other throughout the game. They really have a wonderful, pure relationship.
Despised Pairing: Komaeda X Hinata
Hinata really deserves so much better than Komaeda (and in my opinion better than Chiaki, too. Maybe Mikan?). Komaeda's obsession for Hinata is extremely creepy and annoying. It's not even creepy or extreme enough to be yandere, which doesn't even warrant it a Yuno-Yuki appeal. I think even Izuru, the other version of this pairing, is too good for Komaeda and I'm glad that this pairing isn't two sided.
Overall Favourite Moment: Every scene with Junko
Whenever she's onscreen, it's just a joy to watch her interact and mess with the other characters. Whether she's flipping through personalities at breakneck speed, fawning over despair or even trying to kill her own sister, every scene with Junko is just perfect. She really makes the series, well, full of despair.
Thanks for reading guys! ^_^

Damnit! 2 of my faves dying in 1 chapter! I love Mondo and I adore Chihiro.
Did you also feel the same in Chapter 4 with Alter Ego? Even though they were virtual?
