Favourite Character: Yang Xiao Long
I love Yang so much. In seasons 1-3 she was such a badass and considering the ending of volume 4, she's on that path again. Many people were unhappy with how she was portrayed on Vol 4, due to her not be willing to put on her metal arm right away. However, as someone who's suffered from trauma I understand it completely.
Honourable mentions: Blake Belladonna, Neopolitan, Lie Ren, Qrow Branwen

Despised Character: Jacques Schnee
I absolutely despise Jacques because of how self centred he is and how he abuses Weiss. He trapped his daughter in the confines of their mansions and refused to let her leave after speaking her mind and "embarrassing" him, not to mention slapping her across the face and taking away her rightful position. He's irredeemable in my eyes.
Dishonourable mentions: Adam Taurus, Mercury Black, Whitley Schnee, Cardin Winchester, Roman Torchwick

Favourite Team: RWBY
Contains 3 characters on my top ten list and another awesome one, team RWBY is the original and they are in my mind the best! I love their teamwork and dynamic.

Least Favourite Team: CRDL
Cardin is an absolute fucking dick and the other three have no personality. This team only exists to have a team of assholes. Not even interesting assholes, just assholes.

Overrated Character: Velvet Scarlatina
I don't have anything against Velvet herself, but she's not a very developed character. However she is worshipped and fetishized by so many people in the fanbase simply because she's a bunny faunus and has an (admittedly nice) Australian accent. She had only one fight scene that I felt was a tad underwhelming anyway, probably because it was just her copying other people's weapons. I don't think Velvet's a bad character, just overrated.

Underrated Character: Lie Ren
Although Ren is more soft-spoken then the rest of the main cast and is therefore less talked about, I really like him. Although up until volume 4 he's mostly been showing being beat up pretty bad Ren still has an awesome fighting style, discovered by his fight with the snakes in the forest in vol 1 and continued in the second half of vol 4. He's also a very interesting and deep character with a relatable story arc and a great design. I think Ren deserves more attention by the fans for more then just being boyfriend potential for Nora. He's so much more then that.
Honourable mentions: James Ironwood, Coco Adel, Ilia Amitola

Favourite Villain: Neopolitan
Neo has an undeniable charm, even as a villain. She has in my opinion the best design out of any character in RWBY, being both elegant and very adorable, an incredibly agile fighting style, a weapon that has no right to be as badass as it is and also a certain air of terror to her. Cute as she may be, the fact that Neo is mute (or chooses not to speak) adds a certain menace to everything she does. There's no mid-fight banter, no one liners. Just evil smirks and blows exchanged. For this reason, Neo is my favourite RWBY villain.
Honourable mentions: Cinder Fall, Emerald Sustrai, Ilia Amitola, Hazel Rainart

Despised Villain: Adam Taurus
This is mostly 'cuz I don't want to put Jacques twice but FUCK ADAM. I will admit, next to Neo I think he has the best design of any villain. But I hate that it was used for this terrible, abusive asshole. He's a devout member of the White Fang who had no problem with the organization's conversion to violence and extremism, in fact leading it. He has committed in my opinions the worst and least satisfying actions of any villain in the show. He has previously dated Blake and after she broke up with him, his sworn goal became to destroy everything she loves, starting with Yang. He cut off Yang's arm when she came to Blake's defence and attempted to behead Blake. This was so horrifying to watch, seeing my two favourite characters put in such a situation. I despise Adam, even if he's a good villain/character objectively.

Favourite Songs: Coffee, This Will Be the Day/I Burn (Jazz Version)
1. Coffee gets me so pumped, it's such an awesome song! Great theme for a great team.
2. I absolutely love the jazz rendition of the two songs they played in "Never Miss A Beat". That was so fitting considering Flint's a trumpet player and it was so unbelievably awesome. I also loved the scat vocals.

Favourite Episode: No Brakes
THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME EPISODE. It's the defining Neo and Yang fight/interaction and as someone who thinks Neo and Yang have the most interesting relationship out of any two characters in RWBY this made me super excited. All the fights scenes were awesome and it was just super exhilarating to watch and action packed.
Honourable mentions: Dance Dance Infiltration, Kuroyuri, Painting the Town
