While certainly Kido was not solely invented or utilized by the 13th Division. It is, however where the most gifted with the technique are assigned. Here they not only hone their own talents with Kido, but learn how to utilize it's abilities to improve the lives of those within the Seireitei and combat outside foes. Normally outside of their divisions members of this division are seen as pariah, but within they are a group of royalty high above their peers and as such utilize the color purple to showcase their beauty and mystery.
