Description
This is the second Valyrian Steel Sword Fan Design, the previous being a Baratheon Valyrian Steel Sword Concept art I did a few months back . This specific Valyrian Steel Longsword is for House Velaryon, and is called Riptide. It's specifically based on the Valyrian Steel sword of the same name featured in the ASOIAF Alternate History/Self-Insert fanfiction story which I've previously done artwork for, High Tide by Tertius711 , in which a person from our world gets inserted into the body of Corlys Velaryon from ASOIAF. It's also shares a name with the sword from the Percy Jackson series.I'd like to eventually make a third Valyrian steel sword fan concept for House Gardener/House Tyrell (basically a Valyrian steel sword that originally belongs to House Gardener that passes onto House Tyrell after the conquest).
