Description
The eighth page of the not-so epic Enuma Elish has arrived. In case someone didn't predict it, it is the demise of Tiamat and her whole gang. I tried to make it seem more epic, but, ultimately, I had to follow a rather weak battle scene as depicted in the story.Regardless, the end of this page and the next page describe how (according to the Babylonians) the Earth and humanity were created.

How did she beat the other guys so easily yet he comes in and just blows wind at her and shoots her with an arrow and she dies, and the other dudes are held back by a pathetic rope net. It doesn't seem like she heardly tried nore did her army, isn't she a goddess? I should think that she would have been more of a difficult opponent for someone who can just control wind....how is this explaned?

You've got questions, I've got answers.
1. I had to follow the story, which provides a rather anticlimactic ending--Marduk defeats her and her army without lifting a finger and creates order in the universe.
2. Marduk is basically omnipotent, in addition to controlling the wind.
3. Realistically speaking, since she's incapacitated from being filled with air, she can't really do much.
4. I couldn't really adhere to the plot and have a sweet battle scene. As sad as it made me, I had to let her die.
The next page is even more unrealistic, though I think it is cooler, myself.
