Well, I call them “Masked Beasts”, or 仮面獣 ( Kamenjū ). They’re humans turned cyborgs with strange masks grafted onto them.

Thanks. I still need work on a background for them. You know, who made them and who they work for. But, I got one part down: they were once humans that were either willingly or forcefully turned into said cyborgs through a painless ( not really ) surgical procedure. Once the procedure is completed, they are stripped of emotion and free will.
