Ah X-Men. The world of superheros with mutation as the reasoning and the only limit is the imagination. I love X-Men. It's such a great starting point for creating characters as a mutation could mean anything for superpowers and looks. ^^

Meet Ashley Cunningham, a 17 year old student of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

Mutant Codenamne: Gyro

Early home life would take it's toll on Ashley, with a hate-spewing bitter father. Her father had a wretched disgust for all of mutant kind. Referring them as spawns of demons, natural abominations, and god's punishment on the sinful. This type of mindset for a long time lead Ashley to fear mutants, and upon discovering she herself one, hate for herself. She feared what would happen in her father found out, luckily she has the loving support of her empathetic and understanding mother.
Being a young, inexperienced mutant with no way to properly control her abilities, Ashley father eventually found out and he went ballistic. Ashley's mother did everything she could to protect her daughter, but he pulled a gun and ended up killing her in the process. If it wasn't for a concerned neighbor calling the cops, Ashley would sure be dead too.

Ashley was taken into foster care where she taken in by Christoper Cunningham, a recently single man looking to start over.

Both of them will have to learn from each other to grow into better people.

Mutation: Ashley can manipulate the force of gravity.

This means Ashley can bend the gravity of her surroundings, lifting normally heavy objects by decreasing the weight of their mass and increasing the weight of their mass to make them heavier.
Opening miniature black and white holes.
Repel, attract, and move objects in a manner similar to telekinesis.
Immobilize projectiles and people.
Crush opponents with immense weight or make them lighter than air.
Creating gravitational force-feilds
Her mutation allows her full control of the force around her, including her own gravitational pull. She can anchor herself to the ground remaining immovable and become light enough to take flight.

Favorites/Hobbies: Ashley is a pretty creative person, she likes to take the stress in her life and project them in playing the piano and poetry. She likes many leisure activities like reading, movies, cooking, and playing video games. Her favorite works are adventure, fantasy, and sci-fi. Music includes rock, folk, jazz, and blues. She likes long walks, swimming, and dancing.
She likes cold weather, spicy food, the sound of rain, popping gum, and boots.
Distastes: Ashley hates the feeling of chalk, a disorganized room, and she's allergic to cauliflower, rice beans and mold.
Pet peeves include when people chew their nails and scruff their feet on the ground.
Habits/Tendencies: Like stated, Ashley likes to pop gum. She has a nervous tendency to walk up walls and sit on ceilings when under a lot of stress.
Biggest Vulnerability: Ashley is still just a kid. Not much of a fighter.
