B A C K G R O U N D

    Amy discovered her mutant powers at a young age. This went over terribly by her father, who in a mad spur tried to kill her. A gun misfire ended the life of Amy's mother and managed to avoid the same fate. In a desperate act of defense, Amy redirected the direction of the bullet and killed her own father at the age of 6. When the police investigated, they concluded the scene as her father killing her mother and then himself. Leaving Amy completely unsuspected. After that, things went pretty normally for Amy. Her mutant powers were kept under raps and she was adopted. A terrible gas explosion (that may or may not have been mutants fault) left most of Amy's adopted family dead and her adopted father in a coma.

In her youth, Amy found comfort within the X-Men. Learning to control her powers, she formed with their team. Making a real name out of herself. Unfortunately with the growth and anti-mutant rhetoric Amy sought to actively go against the human prosecution, though Professor Xavier's narrow ideals led Amy farther and farther from the X-Men. Eventually she left them entirely, off to go her own way. It was on her own growing into adulthood when she crossed paths of mutant fighters for mutant rights like the brotherhood. For a while Amy found a new place to settle. Looking out for the good of mutants in a world that wanted them gone. Alas Amy grew sour to Magneto's equally narrow ideals. The constant mutant infighting drove her from mutant work all together. Instead choosing to live alone. Looking out for no one but herself.

Amy longs for a normal life and will reframe from using her mutations unless for defense. She likes to be alone, but is no stranger in a crowded situation. With a will of iron, this woman will take none of anyone's bs. Confident in her own abilities has make Amy rather cocky. She fears nothing and will sass the hell out of anybody. While she has no desire to go back to the X-Men, she does still respect them. Be it she finds them too optimistic and naive.

Gyro kinesis, aka Gravity Manipluation
Amy’s mutation allows her to defy the laws of gravity and bend them to fit her desire. Amy can change the gravitational pull at will. Major uses of her powers are as follows. This includes the ability to sense the gravitational force emitted from other people. Allowing her to know where someone is at all times.

Weight Manipulation: Amy has full range of the force of an object, having full control of the weight of a single mass. This means Amy can generate additional gravity to increase the initial weight of an object, or in turn retract gravity to lighten a given object.

Gravitational Aura: By increasing the density of air around her, Amy can create her own barrier or force field; repelling all forms of attacks and creating a magnetic force pulling objects towards her. This also means Amy could theoretically lower the pressure to expand air, reducing the molecules in a given space and cause those inflicted to experience altitude sickness, eventually putting a major strain on their lungs and cause them to lose consciousness; although she’s never tried it.

Gyo-Telekinesis: By controlling the gravity surrounding it, Amy can practically manipulate all matter. She can lift just about anything or anyone.

Personal Gravity Manipulation: Like the gravity around her, Amy also has full range on her own gravitational field. Amy mainly uses this to manipulate her gravity so she can levitate, fly at varying speeds, and leap long distances. In addition she can increase her gravity to anchor herself downwards to become practically immovable.

Gravity Redirection: In addition for redirecting which direction gravity pulls to allow Amy to walk on walls and ceilings, she can completely redirect the gravity in a given space to pull all opponents and objects in another direction.

Advantages in Combat: Amy has a great upper hand in a battle with the ability to control the gravity of others. By increasing the effective weight of her body, Amy can increase the amount of force when striking an opponent enhancing the magnitude of normal damage.

Power limitations.
Depending what skill level Amy is depends on how long she’s trained and practiced to hone her powers. They are far from perfected, and some techniques may not work all the time.

Amy’s core is the center of power, limiting the amount of gravity range she can control to her immediate surroundings. The farther a force is from her, the less likely Amy can control it.

Her powers are weak to mutations of the other fundamental forces, Electromagnetism, Nuclear Fusion Manipulation and Nuclear Fission Manipulation

Any mutation involving time and space can be immune.

Other gravity revolved mutations can negate her powers.

Her powers are weak to mutations that negate flight.

Her powers are weak to stronger mutants like the Blob and the Juggernaut, although with complete concentration on her part she can lift both from the ground so long as they are disorientated.
