So it took a while for me to get invested into the world of Crash Bandicoot, but a combination of bingeing Caddicarus's many Crash gameplays and my good pal BrownEyedSaiyanGirl being super into it for a long while now, I have found a lot of enjoyment in it. Recently I watched the entirety of the cutscenes from Crash Bandicoot 4: It's about time and it was such a blast. I cannot believe I currently found myself loving the villain, Dr. Neo Cortex as much as I do, but fuck it. Let the simping begin. XD

So in Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity, I just love the flub Cortex has where he almost calls his "niece" his daughter in front of Crash. That got me thinking she is his daughter, but who on earth was the mother? Of course adoption can always be an option (and most likely is the most plausible if they ever do confirm Nina is Cortex's daughter) but I wanted to make a character anyway. ^^

This is Spinerella
A gothic villainess with a spider aesthetic. My personal version of Nina's mother and estranged love (ex-wife? girlfriend? one night stand?) of Cortex.
In a simple and albeit cliché backstory, the two were evil prodigies at the Academy of Evil where there was a lot of goofy shenanigans due to Cortex having a completely one sided crush on Spinerella, and he not knowing how to express that. Like at one point Cortex tried to impress her by using a ray gun on her pet spider to make it grown and instead turned it into a horrifying humanoid mutant monster than kidnaped most of the school and tried to eat them.

Spinerella is composed, cunning, and eloquent. She can be quite crafty even when plans fall apart around her. She loves causing all sorts of trouble for her own selfish desires. While other villains goal is to rule with absolute power, Spinerella is little more practical. Using deceptive practices to live a life of luxury rather than care to rule over people with an iron fist. Still she has dabbled a bit in more grand scale wants of power and has teamed up with Cortex and Nina many times.

Her go to in tools and weaponry her robotic spider like limbs that has had many versions over the years. Sticky traps that ensnare unsuspecting victims, and of many variety of venom and poisons.
