I meant to finish this tutorial a really long time ago, but I've been swamped with homework since I finished the pattern... But I finally finished putting it together, yay!
This is the pattern I used to make my red dragon plushie . Feel free to use this pattern and tutorial, but please don't sell the plushies you make with it! Also, I'd love to see pictures of your finished creations, if you're willing to share!

Thanks! That's really interesting! I just drew that swirl to sort of mimic the shape of the hind leg, but it does look a bit like that rabbit.

Hmmm, I haven't seen that one either. There are these WIPs here and here , though, that might give you an idea of how to put one together. You could probably find a pattern that's similar to use as a base, and the spikes shouldn't be too hard to sketch out. If you want, maybe I could help you sketch out a pattern when I have time.
