I made this plush as a commission last month for a coworker whose grandson really likes the Dreamworks Dragon TV show. This is one of the main characters, Winger. I couldn't get the head quite right, but they were nonetheless pleased with how he turned out. Winger is adapted from my original dragon pattern , with obviously quite a few updates, including better hind legs, a new tail shape, an easier wing construction (thanks to the fact that I am no longer entirely hand-sewing things), and what I am most excited about- toes and talons! Winger is also even larger than the previous dragons I have made, about 13 inches tall and 17 inches long. At some point in the near future I will release this pattern as well, with some slight alterations, but I'm not sure if it would be better to simply release the pattern (which would enable me to release it much sooner) or to create a tutorial to release with the pattern, maybe a video tutorial this time (which would mean they surely won't be released until at least the summer). What do you think?
