Description ` Hollyleaf - flower symbolism edition `

I adore flower symbolism and in almost every drawing of mine there’s a tiny flower hidden in it. My mom was always into flower symbolism and so she started teaching me it since a very young age. Now I can’t resist drawing them and checking their symbolism every time. Thanks mom qwq

Decided to start posting a bunch of my flower edition designs of warriors. They have flowers which grow on them with their fur, and the flowers match their personalities or personal achievements/story.
Yes, a cat can have more than just one type of a flower. And yes, these flowers can fall off. They usually fall off when they hold no meaning to the cat anymore, after which they gets a new set of flowers, but they can also be flowerless for a short period of time. Flowers can also be their tears, blood, eye pupils, etc.

—————————————-

Hollyleaf has two flower types currently - begonia and jasmine.

- Jasmine (sym: unconditional and eternal love) is her family flower, also shared by Squirrelflight, Brambleclaw, Jayfeather and Lionblaze. She loses her flower after the fire scene and regains it when she returns to ThunderClan.

- Begonia (sym: beware, a fanciful nature) is her personal flower. She started gaining it as an apprentice, and she had it until the rest of her life. It also resembles holly due to the green and red tones. It holds both good and bad meanings to her life, mainly referring to her obsession of the warrior code. She doesn’t lose it after the fire scene and Ashfur’s death, because it still holds true to her - her fanciful look on the warrior code and life led her to commiting a crime against her morals.

She is a tortoishell, which is the reason why everyone believed Squirrel and Bramble were her biological parents. She also looks a lot like Tawnypelt, and is very proud of it. Her build as a kit/apprentice was more squished and resembled Squirrelflight a lot, and still has a sleek figure like her. Holly and Jay do share Crowfeather’s facial structure, though.
