Had this one done for weeks now, but did not feel ok about showing it publicly. Feeling better about it now.

Here we have Pippo, Dmitri, and Johann having afternoon tea. Dmitri and Johann were NPCs in the DND campaign Pippo originated from. I'd say Johann was the first friend she made there. He leads a Temple of Deneir in a small human town called Sofita. The two gnomes met through Deneir. Way back when the temple acquired a dangerous artifact, Johann requested neighboring temples to send some of their clerics over to assist with documenting and dealing with said artifact. Pippo, for whatever reason, was the only one that made it to Sofita. Immediately Johann and Pippo found commonality with eachother, both being gnomes from far away lands, both having the same faith.

Only a few days after this meeting, that temple burned down. (by Jango, actually. On accident, sort of. A story for another day) I like to think that post-campaign, Pippo stayed in Sofita to help heal and rebuild what was destroyed. (and made Jango help). Putting so much love and effort into the little village would definitely convince her to stay. Having made so many friends there would make it difficult to leave too, of course.

The other friend here is under the table. Dmitri looks like a wild mouse, but is actually a Wood Elf from the druid settlement neighboring Sofita. He accidentally wild-shaped himself into a mouse during a meditation, and never quite figured out how to turn back. It's been years now. Dmitri sees it as a spiritual journey that he has yet to reach the end of. He seems to get along well enough with the village folk, acting as a guide to those who need help traversing the forest. He might find Pippo to be a little rude, but they are still friends enough. (Dmitri definitely came off as a favourite of the DM at the time)

This is a daily ritual for Johann and Pippo, sipping tea and reading/writing in the back room of the Temple of Deneir. All sorts of people pass through to occasionally join them. It seems very peaceful.

I hope Sofita remains at peace until the end.
