This one,was alot of work
but way well worth it! Hanami is a character I had designed for neri and was extremely fun to draw again. It includes a few cameos of both myself and some of her own characters.
I'd say the most challenging part of the piece was the background, I was trying a new technique with the trees so I'd love some feedback on how that all came out. Backgrounds like this certainly aren't my strong point but I'm definitely learning!
At the very least I still was able to put something out for the month of october even if it's a commission. It's very appropriately spooky themed!
It took about 14 hours to finish the piece in total, but it's now become one of my favorite pieces that I've completed. Honestly I really should finish more work of mine-

this came out great!!!! absolutely beautiful and atmospheric! I love the graves, the glow of the souls, and the way that weapon is shaded really makes it gleam in the moonlight. I also like the smaller details like the dirt coming off the hands of the zombies and the name cameos <3 The white outlines on Hanami make the piece subtly more awesome and the shading on her really makes her stand out and look like she's actually in that environment. Also the way her tail is painted is really eye-appealing and just really beautiful!!
Of course the pose is really cool and energetic as well! I really like the stone path detail and the eerie fog too!
I will say I think the trees look a bit "blocky" and I think could use some more natural shape, but that could be chalked up to a style choice and it doesn't distract from the piece too much. Other than that I absolutely think this is perfect and I can't wait to see more stuff from you!!!!!!
