Ok so here's where the description comes in! The whole reason I drew peach in the first place is because of this. THIS. Honestly I love game theory. I always learn something new and if you haven't seen it check it out here!

The Idea for the 'Mycelium Queen' came from this episode of game theory where Mattpat had made a theory where the goombas were infected with codeceps and taken over by mycelium. (Watch the episode it explains it much better than I ever could. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OaTwR… ) My boyfriend and I started to rp it actually. Peach was kidnapped dark bowser does a cleansing spell. Peach turns out to have been infected with the mycelium spanning off from the cordecep empress (Not yet decided who that will be,most likely daisy~) And she returns to her original state of being Peachy Kean. A young cake baker frome sarasaland. It's honestly pretty cool how it's coming out.
I being originally a pretty heavy sega fan (Sega does what nintedon't HAH Iwishthatweretruenowadays TTwTT)
I always learn new things about it. The mario world is nothing but question marks to me I genuinely don't know anything about. Except a few things here and there but over all zilch. So this was alot of fun! I never drew peach before but I think I did a good job <3
Honestly wish I used this design for one my actual characters XD instead of on peach. But I did create it sooo-
Nah. But in any case this was incredibly fun to work on. Her outfits deingn was inspired by the branching off looks of mycelium and the different forms appearances of black mold. Originally I was going to make it just black and white buuuut. I love deep blues and purples plus I thought that would emphasize her personality in this picture. Where our cute bubbly princess,under the influence of fungi,has become toxic and morbid. A very evil and villaness woman.

Overall I hope you all like it! <3 I really loved making this!
