"Nyarlathotep...the crawling chaos...I am the last...I will tell the audient void..."I am a fan of the works of H.P. Lovecraft. When I was finished, my husband called it Lovecraftian. We flipped through one of his books and the name and that line popped out.
This picture started life as a random sketch: [link]
A few days ago, I just up and decided to make it.
I used my husband as a model and built the rest of it out of the textures I have...well, not the skulls.

It is a bit creepy but I like creepy, most of the time....
The two skulls are a nice touch, the one on the right looks more defined than the one on the left if that makes any sense. Maybe I'm wrong.

Oh my. How delightfully disturbing.
But Nyralthotep was a young (12 or so) Egyptian boy. When worshipped his cults worshipped on of his thousand faces, or masks, and thus saw a different version of him. But his form when he was not wearing the masks was of the boy.
Btw, have you seen the cover for my book? I can't get it formatted properly for submission and I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. But ~Lostprincessofoz did the graphic design and I think it ended up looking superb. If you want you can see it as a preview image for the chapters in my gallery but I'm thinking I'll just put it up in my scraps if you want to see the unaltered one. it looks awesome and I am so disapointed that I can't get it formatted for printing.

I just now saw the cover. Since I'm a beta tester, the previews for poetry/prose look different in my devwatch section. I never got a chance to see it before...almost missed it again when browsing through your gallery.

I know a tad bit about Lovecraft and his work. I have read all of it, even his letters and unfinished stories. Yeah I'm a nerd. So okay dispose of me but make sure that I end up somewhere in the vacinity of your bed. So that's what Nyralthotep looks like on... that... planet. I understand. It's all so clear now.
