Description
It's meant to animate faster, but internet browser limitations prevent me from setting a faster speed. The animation speed may fluctuate and appear choppy sometimes and that is caused by your browser. Here's the idle animation for those who haven't seen it yet. Yes, I've returned to drawing additional animations for the Breath of Fire 4-styled Slime character that originates from the Dragon Quest series. This can be either a weak attack or a magic spell casting animation, depending on the additional effects added, though the magic casting would probably need a short additional animation at the top of the jump as well. I may make a short battle scene with these things at some point down the road with all the fancy effects, but that won't be for a while at the earliest. I'd need to draw the battle backdrops and such too!

Love the way the eyes move up as it squishes down before bouncing.

Great work, I love that the animation is so smooth and I can see that the weight is really there when he bounces, it's so fluid it's like 3D. I look forward seeing more!

Ugh you continue to be the animation god! I tip my hat to you sir. The expression, the shadow, the way his face points up and down...amazing,

Thanks Kyle! The frames used in this were edited from the old idle animation I made so much extra effort wasn't needed aside from making the jump height higher and making the eyes move. It still looks a bit unimpressive for an attack, but in the Dragon Quest games the Slimes are usually either the very weakest enemy in the game or among them so I guess it kind of fits.
The slime attacked ! smoothly dodged the attack!
