Buzzy Beetle, a somewhat "gloomier" Spiny lookalike, without the spikes of course.Interestingly, their japanese name is "Metto", deriving from the english word helmet. Now, this reminds me of a certain Megaman enemy...

The animation, although small, is really smooth and I like it. I think there's a little too much of a gradient effect, but that's just me :3
