A newly-announced form of Rotom in PokΓ©mon Platinum, capable of learning the powerful Ice-type move Blizzard.Platinum comes out on this week's Saturday, animations of the rest of the forms coming later...if ever.

i love it! and awesome job with antialiasing, the shape itself stayed pretty solid while it was moving! the mouth just seems too cookie cutter to me, maybe you could use a little anti aliasing there as well?

Rotsprite is the program I used to rotate the tilting sprites, I just exported them all into the animation separately. And yeah, the mouth does look kinda rough, now that you mention it. Might fix it up a little when I can bother myself to edit it in all the frames.

Or maybe you're just saying the new Rotoms are bad because they are new? That's the feeling I'm getting. I don't care what generation PokΓ©mon are from, but the newer generation PokΓ©mon seem to be more efficient in battle...
Not to say I prefer them over the first 151, but not the other way around, either.

It's funny how nobody seems to realize Rotom itself is based on a lightbulb (and living in a television). Its alternate forms being based on other household devices isn't really all that surprising. Only difference is, Rotom isn't shaped like a TV.

The real sprite freaked me out because it turned out to be so big. Anyways, I like the idea of Rotom alt. forms, even if just because it makes the poor thing more appreciated.

Cranidos is not all that great, but I love Rampardos' new sprite. They improved on the anatomy of that thing and made its head a tad smaller.
