Description
A custom Zorua animated in the 4th Generation's battle entrance-style.I figured I'd try spriting one of the newly revealed 5th Gen PokΓ©mon, Zorua. It's a Dark-type PokΓ©mon. Obviously I didn't have many reference pictures so some details might be off.

Y'know, guarantee there's a ton more frames in this than there are in the Nintendo sprites (there's like 2-3 max in those)

Question, I always wondered how ninteno and other artist get that distorted swash and stretch effect you see on pokemon sprites.
Do you have to do it by hand?

In this case, I had to do it by hand. But in the real games (and pretty much every game that uses similar 2D rotation and distortion effects), the stretching effects are simply handled in realtime by lines of game code.

Does it really have to be a sprite? You can ask around deviantART, there are some really good digital illustrations of this critter already. I'm saying this because I don't want this sprite to spread onto other sites as has happened with many of my other sprites. People using them as their forum avatars and stuff like they made them.
If you really need to get a Zorua sprite to use, I'm afraid you'll have to ask someone else.
