Description
One of the sheets I did for Adeo's design for the competition! Working on the final illustration at the moment, and because of the deadline it's all I've really been working on this week. So if you're expecting something from me, like the wing tutorial, it has to wait until after xDRelated content

it always makes me happy to see more OCs involving the angel's hierachy, bcuz i sometimes just feel like i'm the only person knowing of it :'D
anyway, is there any way I can read/know more about Adeodatus, because i'm quite interested in him.

Yeah there are quite a few, but the higher up the Hierarchy it goes, the less and less there are xD In the story there are only two Seraphim alive D:

I guess Adeodatus isn't buddy buddy with the other seraphim?

You mentioned he misses the earth, so i guess he did hang out around there quite often.
What did he do to be kept captive ;;

He's not on bad terms with Risen, they're both equal acquaintances. And they both respect each other greatly both being Seraphim. However Seraphim as a whole are very solitary creatures and prefer to roam the earth alone, unless needed by their superiors.
Back when there were more Seraphim around and they didn't start warring with the humans yeah. But many thousands of years ago a catastrophe happened that caused the humans to back off into their own place in the sky, many Seraphim died out, and Adeodatus was the only left that they could have any control over. Because of his obedient and loyal nature he didn't fight back like Risen did, who decided to go live on Earth with the humans.
He didn't do anything to be kept captive, it was more they needed him to stay in case they were attacked again like they were before. Angels can't reproduce, so the numbers they have is all they have. Only Seraphim can reproduce under certain circumstances, but even so the only ones left are both male so it isn't possible xD He's kept there so he can fight for them if something stronger attacks them and they can't defend themselves. But because of his inactivity he's slowly turning to stone.

Not really, angels in my world aren't empathetic at all, they don't feel remorse and they don't mind killing something or someone if need calls for it. He's just another soldier, he doesn't feel emotion like humans do

She's a few years younger than me and I have the same thing. Takes practice and she goes to school for such, I think if I recall right. Keep practicing. That's what she tells me owo.

hahaha, in my case my shortcoming is backgrounds, I can literally think for hours of the background in an illustration and still be blank.

More often than not he's actually too heavy to fly, especially with all the armour and drapery he's been adorned in :')

Thank you! Yeah I love that kind of pattern, it shows he's a bird of prey which he very much is. I took inspiration from red tailed kites mostly for his design
