The fact that it is photo based is something for me to be ashamed of, cheating using photographs instead of painting it. But that's just one of the many skills a concept artist needs, so I'm willing to learn. It's fun either way so I'm not too bothered.Β

I love alot of interest when I stopped doing fanart.. The only way for people to like my stuff is if I solely do that. Like Sakimichan or Laovaan.Β
But again, it got more than I thought it would, and I'm just happy in my own progress, so it doesn't bother me all too much.Β

Just wow. I really like this kind of works, reminds me ofΒ nivanhchanthara Β works a bit. It would be nice to get to know you do your studies, im kinda started studing 3 or 4 months ago and i am eager to work as much i can to get better because its difficult to live from drawing in my country so i want to make my own studys with book and tutorials from outside. Mind if i ask, how do you study, how much time you use for your studies and how you managed to stay focused and motivated? Sorry for the long post but since i was little i wanted to draw as a consept artist but i was told i could not live as one in my home town, and seeing how much you love drawing and how much you work for it just makes me want to keep working hard. Keep your hard work that its clearly leading you to your dreams!Β

I'm planning on getting some out over the holidays owoΒ
How do I study? I mostly look at what I'm good at, and what I'm not good at. I then determine what I need to get better at through those observations and make studies and practices accordingly. It's generally my own passion for the subject that gives me motivation, it's a competitive industry and if you rely mostly on natural inspiration and motivation, you won't get very far. You've got to be disciplined and push yourself to actually strive to be better than you are.Β
And don't worry, I was very much similar when I first started to realise what I wanted to become. My dad lives in the past and doesn't believe being such an artist can provide a living, which I admit he's right for the most part. It's incredibly difficult to become a successful concept artist on a living wage, but as long as you try your best anything is possible.Β
And thank you so much! I'm glad my stuff is inspiring for you! As long as you continue to practice and develop, and show your passion for concept art, you'll go far! I recommend you make a few website pages so that your art gets more exposure and more people see it. ArtStation is a good place, Tumblr and Facebook are good places too.Β

It's mostly improvisation. Like, a space could be completely empty before I actually decide to put anything there, I'll just find a photo (in this instance) of a building and put it down to fill space :T
