is this used in prismacolored pencil? If yes, could you list the colors you used for this feather study?

Haha no it isn't prisma colour. I used Derwent Studio Colours for these, and I couldn't tell you the colours without getting them out x0

Haha yeah, they're usually for fly tying or crafts but they're pretty cheap. I just use them for drawing though, they're super pretty!

Wow I love the way you draw wings, you're so talented!
But, seriously am I the only one reacting when reading you bought DRIED WINGS??? I think spending money into this, no matter your purpose, supports cruelty toward animals and this is horrible

I'm sorry if this upsets you, and by no means do I support animal cruelty. The birds were already killed for game or population control and I have no means in that say. Either way if I were not to have bought the wings they would have been thrown away ^^"

I understand and I want you to know I don't mean to attack you with my comment of course. I'm only sharing my feelings.
I feel upset, but you are not responsible of this. It is the society, generally, that is doing so wrong in my opinion.
Population control, in a way, is shameful to me. Who has the right to decide whether others beings will live or not? I regard animals equally as human in term of respecting their right to live and their free will if it doesn't hurt others. So it's shocking for me to hear this.
Of course, whether you buy these dried wings or not won't change what happened. But I believe the way we spend our money can change what will happen in the future. That's why I try to consume as few cruelty as possible. I don't eat animal stuff. Meat and all the rest related to them suffering (I wish I could not buy anything crual for humans or for the whole planet too but in my current situation I cannot). And I believe in the future more and more people could follow this and won't ever think about hurting or killing a sentient being like that anymore.
Oh and I think I remember we spoke about your Angel character being so concerned with animal cruelty, because you feel that way. I won't confuse you with someone crual of course.

I do respect your opinion and I by no means want to infringe upon that or your views! I do eat meat and other animal products, but only to keep a healthy lifestyle. I'm very anaemic so I need as much red meat intake as possible. I neither agree nor disagree with animal hunting, humans have been doing it ever since we set foot on the earth, it's a part of the lifestyle of many and it's not something I can change either. I don't condone unnecessary cruelty, but the necessity to eat and live can't be argued upon even if there are alternatives, many just can't. And I personally would never hunt anything either. I bought these wings for personal study, although I understand how buying them can affect the further sales of these items.Β
I personally don't find anything wrong with consuming animals in order to survive, but I very much disagree with the many ways in which this is carried out. I've seen the videos where animals are treated badly in factories, it's absolutely despicable and it really does bring tears to my eyes :cΒ
Yeah that's Risen, he definitely dislikes the cruelty to animals and he has done a lot in his world to stop it, using his stature as a godly being xD
Thank you for sharing your views, it's very insightful and I appreciate you have the strength and determination to hold up such an impressive lifestyle ;w;Β

Thank you for your open mind and I'm very glad we can discussions and share our opinion even if it is different and we have a different lifestyle. I feel sorry for your health issue even though actually I don't know much about it. I just hope you will be ok
I believe that people usually don't need animal products to survive but I know it depends on the living conditions too. People living un antartica for instance can't eat local fruits! And yeah, I guess health issues are another exception but sometimes these issues have an origin sometimes due to consuming meat, medicine, chemicals, etc... I think the human way of life is twisted in various aspects and it affects us all and the whole planet and beyond. That's very sad. And even when at some point animal products would be needed, the problem is our society is excessive. And I couldn't put it better than the way you described the rest of it.
I love Risen even more today, because day by day I feel even more for this animal issue. Can you tell Risen to come now and help bringing peace between the species of Earth? xD
Well thank you for kinda looking up to this lifestyle! Actually it doesn't require too much determination to me to make this change in my life because it is what I feel good to do with m'y heart. I sometimes miss the taste of sometimes things, but consuming it would break my heart at this point. And I have still so much left to change like cruelty free hygiene products but I don't yet have money to replace it or make it myself

Yeah it's nice to have different opinions but not be hostile about it xDΒ
Aside having anaemia, I honestly just prefer the taste of meat over alternative products, I have tried others but I really just can't get used to the taste and having to change my whole way of life would just be too stressful for me to cope with. As well as the alternative products just costing so much more than the meat itself. But yeah I do agree we are excessive as a race and a lot of food goes to waste, meat and fruit one in all. Which is sad in itself, because people are so picky these days. Even though I do eat a lot of meat myself, I never let it go to waste. I always use everything I have, and I never throw meat away unless it's just too far gone to be healthily edible. I even have my friend's meals when they don't finish them because I feel so bad for the food wastage. I feel comfort in the fact that everything I have makes a full usage, like what I eat helps me live on!Β
I have a friend who's a vegetarian and it's really enlightening. I couldn't possibly cope with her lifestyle, but she dedicates a lot of her time making sure everything she eats has no animal products in it. She's on the brink of being vegan, she checks everything meticulously!Β

Well I guess you said it all about wastage and consuming. I feel bad about wastage and did the same as you to avoid it (but I won't do it anymore since their meals do not fit my diet).
For the alternative products, well I never tasted them, simply because I don't have money to do so! All I ever experienced is cooking and removing all the animal products from the ingredients, or replacing with things I can afford, and it tastes wonderful to me
And oh the description of your friend sounds so much like me! xD Actually being vegan, depending on the definition, it also includes not consuming medicine, soap, shampoo, clothes, etc... Becoming 100% vegan must be very difficult and hard to access in a society where everything is corrupted. If we also consider the human misery, poverty, slavery... Actually I'm afraid it's hardly possible for now.
I'd like people to change. Just giving more love. More peace. And the rest will come naturally day after day!

Wow! Thats some wicked dedication! Funny how your working on a wing tutorial because just today I was drawing chickens! Your line confidence is as always breathtaking as it is intimidating and your shading looks like it was done with a laser printer, so clean and deadly precise. Β

Haha thank you! Yeah I can only learn so much from photographs, having the actual thing helps bring a sense of presence to the artwork, and I can work from different angles. I've already learnt so much!
