My last two seraphim, Risen and Adeodatus! Enjoyed this, I was thinking of painting it digitally but I might not now, or at least not any time soon xD I injured my hand so I won't be doing much artwork at the moment until it recovers!Related content

I was actually supposing that they must hate each other,Β Β Β I mean if I have been paying attention Risen started this war againstΒ humans, that ended killing most of the seraphs, and now he and Adeo are the lasts ones and seraphs are not anymore the pinnacle of the... ''angel society''... I guess?, and that's why Adeo is chained to this throne and... I mean there must be some resentment, right? Β Β

Nah, all angels have great respect and endearment for Seraphim no matter what they do. Risen did develop emotions through his actions though and he chose to leave them and live alone down on earth. Adeo is quite indifferent from most beings, he dislikes mildly any rank of angel below him giving him orders of any kind, he generally won't listen to anyone but he's bound by his loyalty to his race and so he endures his suffering in order to make life for other angels better.Β
Adeo being chained to the throne is mostly linked to Cherubim gaining more power in society over them, because of what one seraph did in the war - they are essentially being taken down a rung in society so they aren't capable of making those decisions again. Even though there are only two of them left, the Goddess tries everything she can to keep him from leaving, even if there's really nothing she can do if he were to decide to. it's his sheer stoic attitude and loyalty that keeps him there in the first place xD

Great picture and I start to love Adeodatus even more than "Risen"! But I've been asking myself a question for a long time: How does he get rid of the skull? The horn bending is so wedged that it does not go! Or is he deliberately "growing" in it and he can never lose it?

He can't shift the skull, it locked loosely onto his own horns back when he first started wearing it, and as his own horns grew, it cemented the bond between them and it's just impossible to move now unless you physically cut it off. His sight because of it is impaired, but due to having been in the same spot for many centuries, he doesn't need sight necessarily. He relies a lot on his other senses to fight or interact, however he can lift his head to see if he needs a wider range of vision!Β
His horns will always keep growing like his hair, so it's likely that one day it'll get to a point where because of being aged by time, the skull will break into dust.
