For some reason I think the woman wants out by the look on her face, or is it just me? Like she was trying to leave, the man seduces her back down, now he anchored her to the bed and she has a weird expression.Β

My French sucks, but I also got the impression that anatomically she's not... 'intact'? Like there's a point when they first make out that he touches her down there and is 'shocked' by what he touches. Nothing's shown to explicitly say for sure what's going on down there, but it's something she feels bad about. She's in love with him, but can't fully physically give in to that love for some reason because of her nature as a mermaid and his as a human.

if you read the whole story and understood it you'd realise that she hates herself because mermaids are not suppost to fall in love with humans.. so she's constantly worried about that and the consequenses :S
